The editor is responsible for finding, acquiring, and managing content providers to produce videos, workshops, and other potential products. This position also acquires and manages all aspects of strategic relationships with select affiliates, such as online training companies. Primary duties include finding partners and authors, vetting talent and content, negotiating contracts, content submission deadline tracking, and building relationships. The editor also communicates regularly with Learning staff to ensure all projects are on-track and in line with the goals of the division and the company. The content area covered by the editor is primarily targeted to developers, programmers, and other software professionals.
