By now you have seen the best (mainly one or two performances) and the worst (virtually them all) of the night from "VH1 Divas Celebrates Soul." So now like any sidebar after your family get-together it's time to talk mess about all the folks whose faces you just smiled into and said how much you love. Get into it below.

Estelle is literally golden in this number. In person the only issue was her visible black bra, which was a distraction.

Queen Latifah

A chain-link to adorn her dress adds a creative element to the Queen's typical look.

Emily Busmante

She is neither a diva nor are we sure of what soul she possesses when it comes to music but Emily B. choose a safe dress and passes the mark.

Mary J. Blige

A little too much cream, blonde and pink makes this choice a dud.

Jill Scott

Much too mitchy-matchy for our taste. Plus that edgy hairstyle does not complement this conservative style of dress. Something has to give.

This 1960's inspired sweater dress and 21^st century alien boots is not giving her the right "Spotlight."

Wow, we haven't seen this talented Wayans family member in the spotlight in some time. Fortunately she is looking more regal than funny these days. Great color.

The theme of the week must be color since Anthony makes a winning fashion statement in bold blue and red.

You may not know her name or even how to pronounce it, but you should. Never mind the pouty face, Ms. Shoiwa has it going on in this soft but sexy dress.

While we are all about girl power not everyone was exactly holding it down for women of style. Check out our picks for the best, the worst and those that fall somewhere in between.

Hands down the best-dressed woman of the night. Estelle is in a class all by her own with this choice of color, fit and sophistication.

It's hard to do wrong in a skintight all black dress. While Alesha could have used a more impressive neckpiece we give her a pass.

Not the best look of the night but it's safe enough to pass. Next time though push the hair back if you have a peek-a-boo cleavage cutout since otherwise, what's the point?!

Aside from always having a sourpuss expression on her face, Keri is not edgy enough for some of the outfits she chooses. This is a dramatic dress that needs to be funked up with some wild accessories; not played down like a librarian.

In all fairness no one ever billed the BET Hip-Hop Awards as a night of red carpet fashion at its best. This year that statement couldn't be closer to the truth as an unprecedented amount of celebrities dressed quite poorly. Sure it's hip-hop and that lends itself to a more relaxed than usual approach but someone has to bring some eclecticism, originality and sophistication to the game. Here's the best of the worst and the worst of the worst.

Memphitz knows that he needs to stand back which is why he is giving props to the little man in the picture. Now this is an original and creative look from the bowtie to the pink boots and lime green laces.

She is bringing the motorcycle ball to the hip-hop show with a sheer brown skirt and a tight leather jacket cropped at the waist with an expression that says badabada vrrroooommm!

Ace Hood

There is nothing outstanding about this look but at least he didn't put on a T-shirt. The sweater steps it up a bit from casual to at least semi-dress casual.

I'm placing these two together because they represent the typical look of a rapper on every red carpet. Enough with this look. There are more shirts out there than T-shirts and other bottoms than jeans. Let's switch it up a bit, shall we?

Is Tracee's new role that of a video vixen? Usually this stylish woman has flair all her own with fabulous chic choices. But here she strayed too far away from her own style to try and fit in. It ain't working boo.

The 2011 Bronner Brothers Hair Show went down in Atlanta, GA recently and once again we had our winners and losers for one of our favorite events of the year.

If you're one of the Stans who thinks that Beyonce invented all the moves, looks and poses then you're in for a major lesson. Like any artist, she was influenced by those before her. Now I'm not saying that she is a thief although some would argue that's the case according to this and this and this and this and this and well, you get the point. What I am saying is that Beyonce was not created in a vacuum, although if she was I'm sure it a bedazzled one. Before "King B" there was the much underrated funk soul diva, Betty Davis. Betty was an independent woman who created her own musical lane and whipped up controversy and critical acclaim in the process. Musically there isn't much to connect the two since I did say that Betty had soul. But image wise the two aren't that far apart. Don't believe me? Well, check it out below.
