Unfortunately, this is a Chrome bug, but we’ve already found a solution, and version 8.1.4 is currently awaiting approval on the Chrome Web Store to fix this issue (before the Chrome team does).

Se è giusto che l’autore dell’Opera venga tutelato e gli venga riconosciuto e scompenso per il suo lavoro e altrettanto giusto e doveroso che il cliente barra utilizzatore sia tutelato nelle sue azioni ovvero mi domando come è possibile che ci sia una foto che io trovo sul web e che non dà o non fa nessun tipo di riferimento all’esistenza di copyright o divieti di utilizzo dell’immagine se non previo pagamento quindi io la percepisco una mera semplice truffa! Ci sono tante immagini che non è possibile utilizzare perché sono protette!

Io uso IrfanView da anni per le operazioni rapide, ma hai ragione: quando devo lavorare batch di immagini pesanti su un computer che non è il mio, non ho sempre il software installato. Mi è capitato spesso di dover convertire HEIC dell’iPhone in JPG per il web, o comprimere PNG per alleggerire un sito, o trasformare PDF in Word per modificarli velocemente.
Ho trovato un’alternativa online gratuita che gestisce conversioni batch senza installare nulla: supporta JPG, PNG, HEIC, WebP, PDF, Word, Excel, EPUB e molti altri formati. Funziona direttamente nel browser, i file vengono eliminati automaticamente dopo la conversione, quindi nessuna preoccupazione per la privacy.

Ciao Ozh, it’s a real pleasure to see you here commenting. It probably goes without saying how much I love YOURLS—I absolutely couldn’t do without it in my daily life anymore.

Actually, a PR was opened a long time ago #199 (it seems to no longer exist; I just retrieved the various emails from my inbox but see that the link returns a 404 today). I had discussed it with dgw, but then I decided to take some time to refine, improve, and expand my plugins and projects dedicated to YOURLS. The idea is to then propose them all for inclusion in the AWESOME list, to replace a couple of old ones that have now been abandoned and archived.

I plan to do this soon :-)
