The most common offerings are 6-piece and 9-piece aluminum-alloy or stainless-steel wrench/clamp/spanner sets sized for Leica M2 through M7, MP, and SM cameras. These tools are made for non-destructive removal of flash-socket rings, film-advance levers, viewfinder eyepieces, rewinder knobs, self-timer levers, and various RF/VF rings. The Impastolite 2-inch is perhaps the more overtly characterful lens, with its Septac-inspired glow, swirl and flare. It is a lens which proudly refuses to behave like a modern corrected fifty.
• This is not a lens for photographers who prioritise perfect corners, absolute flare resistance, conventional clicked aperture settings or clinical consistency at every distance.
