Celebrate National Deviled Egg Day: American Chef James Beard U.S. Postal Stamps + Deviled Egg {Recipe}

If there is one hors d’oeuvre that I look forward to eating at any party, it’s the deviled egg.  Do you know that this popular American party food is being celebrated on Sunday, November 2nd? Yes. The day is aptly called National Deviled Egg Day.

And to celebrate National Deviled Egg Day, I’m happy to share this yummy deviled eggs recipe with a modern twist by the iconic American chef James Beard, who famously cited the deviled egg as his all-time favorite party food.

Consequently, the U.S. Postal Service is paying tribute to chef James Beard’s contributions to American food culture (along with four other renowned chefs) by featuring him in its limited-edition Celebrity Chefs Forever® stamp series.
