A network of nine park trails allow hiking trips ranging from one day up to one week, at altitudes between 800m and 2,642m.



Nikoloz Romanoff Trail

Diverse trail crossing the National Park from Likani to Marelisi village.
Route length each direction: 40 km.
2 overnight stays in the National Park in Lomismta and Didi Sakhvlari in tents.
Extension day trip to Lomismta (approx. 4 hrs) is possible.
Hike can be combined with the next trail;

Following Wildlife Traces

A day trip leading through diverse landscapes from Likani to Qvabiskhevi.
Route length each direction: 12 km. approx. 6 hrs.
St Andrew's Trail
Crossing the National Park from Atskuri to Marelisi, passing the highest point mt. Sametskhvareo.
2 or 3 ovrnight satys in Amarati and Didi Sakhvlari in Ranger shelters or camping.
Route length each direction: 50 km.

Panorama Trail

Challenging round trip from Atskuri via Amarati with great panoramic views.
One overnight in tents
Route length each direction: 16 km. approx. 6 hours

Pure Pristine forest trail

Shortest trail crossing the National Park. From Nunisi to Zanavi.
Especially recommendable when the rhododendron is in blossom (April-May).
Overnight stay at Nunisi ranger shelters or camping.
Route length each direction: 12-13 km. approx. 6 hrs.

How to get there:
You can reach the National Park from Tbilisi either by public transportation (train or vans) or by car, which will take you approx. 2.5 hours. There are trains from Tbilisi and Batumi to Borjomi, Bakuriani, Kharagauli and Marelisi.
