Who is Yuuki Moira?
She is a Japanese fortuneteller. According to here website, she is very famous and one of the a pioneer who settled fortune telling boom in Japan. Her carrier in fortune telling is more than 30 years. She participates in many Japanese newspaper, magazine and TV show on fortune telling section. “Happy Makeup,” a new fortune telling she proposed, based on physiognomy, become popular among Japanese girls. She have published 60 books.

This illustration is from a website Jonathan Cainer’s Astrology. I like this illustration. It’s little artistic. It doesn’t say who draw this picture. My guess is Spanish illustrator. What do you think? At least it’s not Japanese artist. Well, It could be, but this illustration of zodiac doesn’t have typical Japanese illustration touch.

This illustration of zodiac is drawn from a website called “Chuou Unmeigaku Counseling” meaning “Central Studies of Fate Counseling.” This site is managed by Isamu Kimoto, but it doesn’t say anything about him and what kind of organization Central Studies of Fate Counseling is. Maybe it doesn’t have any meaning but if so, how can we know that this website is reliable? The manager does telephone fortune telling business, but who would call? He could be just a normal guy don’t know about fortunetelling.

I think this illustration of zodiac is really cute. I like the touch of this illustration. I’ve glanced through several EllE Online of other countries, but Japan is the only one who uses real illustrations. Other sites used just a zodiac symbols and small icon of zodiac.

There are 4 element, water, wind, fire, and earth, but it doesn’t tell what the element mean!

“Otto dress your life,” a fashion web shop, is the website that posts horoscope by using this illustration of zodiac. But I can’t find any descriptions about the elements of zodiac. The horoscope is compiled under supervision of “Aya” the fortune teller. So I went to see the homepage of house of fortune that she belongs, but it didn’t say. Still I think its cool 
The homepage of house of fortune said that they will charge approx. 100 USD for 60 min fortune telling.

It has latest and trendy information about travel, gourmet, career, lifestyle, heal, beauty, love, and entertainment. This kind of website helps me a lot to catch up with the world.

Zodiac illustration having circle background and square background didn’t seem to mean anything because I’m starting to find illustration of zodiac with square background. At first, I didn’t see an illustration of zodiac with square background, they all had circle background but now I find them both so… oh well!

Here is another collection of Zodiac illustration. This one is from Japanese morning entertaining new Ohayou Asahidesu. It is the TV show I watch every morning. The main announcer Yukari Kita is very cute. Most of the Japanese morning news show offers horoscope. They show today’s horoscope ranking in a short Anime.

I like this illustration of Zodiac,because it has wheel of zodiac. Yesterday, I was wondering, why illustration of zodiac tend to have circle background but maybe it it from the zodiac wheel

These picture of zodiac are from a girls underwear website. It is a Japanese brand of Trump International.
Isn't it bit surprising that an underwear website offering daily horoscope? I think it is not a website to check everyday, or is it?

I seen a picture of zodiac that are similar to this one, but they had the zodiac symbol in it. I never seen the one with a picture in it, except for this one.
Why are zodiac symbols and pictures are in a circle background? Isn't it always in a circle back round or no background?

Seems like I need to collect some more of these pictures of zodiac to see if there is one with triangle or rectangle background.

Name of the illustrator is Natomi Miwano. Her drawing is cute but looks like anyone can write, but she is a pro. She draws illustration and 4 sean Manga for magazines and web pages.
Actually I'm pretty surprised that she is a pro illustrator. My image of an pro illustrator was like someone who draws cool Anime pictures. She said on her profile that she can write any kinds of illustration with any kinds of touch. Is only me who this here drawings are pretty much the same?

On 4th of June, Japanese publisher PHP released a book called Astrogirls Zodiac / Astronomy study the basic of space with Anime girls. A4 size, 224 pages 1,995 Yen (Approx.USD 20.00)

This book humanize and animates zodiacs, black holes, milky way, sun, planet and other elements in space. 36 illustrator involved in humanizing and animating girls. The cover illustration is done by Yasuda Suzuhito, the author of Yozakukra Quartet. Ayumi Kasai is also involved in this book.

Hmm, using famous illustrator's art work seems to tickle Otaku's heart. This book will be soled in book store at Akihabara, the holy place for Otaku.

Why did PHP make this book?
Before releasing this book, they had released humanized animated element, like oxygen, book. So they been thinking that they want to release a space version. They think, at the first place, zodiac is a humanized star by the ancients.

Here is a picture of zodiac sings, and these re from MSN US. They use better zodiac sign than MSN Japan, don't you think? Just the symbol is not fun. I think it is to better to have pictures of zodiac. I found out that MSN Frans uses the same zodiac sings with US.

Here is a picture more an icon of zodiac sings. It has name of the zodiac sings in Japanese. I think you can tell what zodiac they are from the illustration. I like this illustration of Zodiac signs because they are simlpe. In Japan, like on a horoscop, Ziodiac sings are illustrated with decorative pictures so a simple ones like this is bit rare.

This picture is from a portal site @nifty Japan. Most portal site has fortune page. Evey time it attracts my attention.

Here are another pictures of 12 zodiac sings. I think this one is cute.

My zodiac is Libra the scale, but since it is not people or animal, it is never cute. So is Sagittarius and Aquarius. Picture of those three zodiac isn't cute. It is always a picture of a scale, arrow, and a water pot. I hope I encounter a cute pictures of those while I collect the pictures of zodiac sings.

Today's illustrations of 12 zodiac is from a Japanese portal website Livedoor Fortune. I like today's illustration better that yesterdays.
By glancing at Livedoor Fortune website, I get surprised to see so many types of fortune telling. The one attracts my attention is Name Fortune. Is their fortune telling by how your name is spelled? Not quite how it's spelled in Japanese Name Fortune telling, how many stroke in your name has. The Name Fortune Telling roots in Chinese Number Fortune Telling. There is a good number and bad numbers, i guess. By the number of strokes in your name, they tell the fortune. I can't say any technical thing but it is basically like that. Is their a fortune telling like this in other countries? If it is a countries that spells name with roman alphabet, then max number of stroke is 2 for a letter. But Japanese names and Chinese names are spelled with various Chinese character, which means number of stroke has also varieties.
Tell me if you know a fortune like Japanese Name Fortune Telling in other countries.

I'm going to collect illustration of Zodiac sings time to time. Most of the Japanese portal sites offer horoscope and they all have a nice illustration of Zodiac signs. So I though it might be interesting to collect and compare.

Most parents and adult say that “It is good to have a dream” in Japan.

As I grew up, I felt most adults don't dream. And I realized that I was starting not to dream.

Isn't that sad? Dreamer is the only one who cam make the dream. If you don't even dream, there is no chance for that person to make it happen. That's why I don't stop dreaming. When I have a childern I will tell them “It is good to have a dream, dreamer is the only one who cam make the dream happed. Don't forget to dream when you be come an adult.” This is my dream when I become a mother.
