Blur and Digic latest cinematics

My fellow blurians just released a totally insane cinematic for the game “Batman Arkham City”. Not sure if I’m too tired, but the first time I saw it I closed the movie after a 40 seconds thinking it was a new trend to create live action footage (with matte painting/CG environments). Basically the project realism succeeded to bluff me. After a second vision of the trailer, sure thing that’s a CG product, and some shots are really noticeable being CG. But damn, can’t believe I got bluffed on those incredible first 30 second of footage.

Well done guys !! by the way Derron did the captain voice, right ? :)

Prepare to be stunned, that short (which I had the chance to watch at Dreamworks a few month ago) is completly hysterical.

I just loved it in all possible way, the look, the animation, the storyline, everything is just stunning.

Paths of hate trailer

Platige is a polish company which gave us amazing short movies ( Cathedral, Fallen Art, the Ark )
They just landed a trailer for their upcoming short movie project called “Paths of hate”
I’m really excited to see the final product.

After 6 months of interruption the blog is alive again, and the whole website has been updated, migrated to wordpress using a brand new theme, I hope you will like it!

So, I’ve been really busy with some lead lighting work on Shrek forever after, Megamind, and now on Puss in Boots.

I will keep that post really short, as it’s intent is mostly to give you the word about the general update, and I will start writing here once or twice a month I think. In the mean time if you haven’t been yet to the theater to check out Megamind, here is the trailer… Honestly that trailer isn’t a great representation of the movie itself, which I enjoyed very much !
