I’ve used its predecessor before and that’s the N810. I must say I have enjoyed using that device and I’m vey happy the new variant of the Maemo OS has been developed and now on Nokia very own’s N900, boasting similar specs as some gadget that is awarded ‘something you cannot live without’ and that’s the keyboard-less phone you guys have been hyping about.

I love the keyboard on N810. I can’t live with a handset that’s touchscreen and without keyboard and with user-not-friendly onscreen keys (That’s the reason why I gave up on the HTC Cruise last year.) I’m looking forward to its release here in Singapore and it should be here most probably next month or January, given Nokia’s schedule trend of releasing the new batch of N Series recently.

I may consider getting this microphone which my poly studio uses, I wasn’t expecting it to be so cheap, I thought Studio Mic would be at least $400-$500 minimum? Ok now I know my poly is cheapo (OOPS).

My school uses the above (Behringer C-1 Studio Condenser Microphone, and also the C-3 model) in studio when I was back in school. It’s US$40(Around SGD$55) and only now I realised it is this cheap for a studio condenser microphone. For some knowledge, if you wanna do stereo recording, you need two mics or more, something to do with the X or Y theory stuffs. =P But since I’ve got one Sony condenser already, it would do fine with just one more.

What’s a home recording set up without a mixer? I initially thought Yamaha mixer(like SGD$300, which is GASPS) is ok already, I found out the same German brand producing the mic, have this 8-input mixer (Behringer 802 8-Input Mixer) for just US$59 (Around SGD$85). Since it’s home recording, I only need little input, no need those GIGANTIC studio setup where you see 16 or even 24 input channels.

Either you need a good sound card or a good audio usb interface for the workstation, sound card in my opinion is expensive and easily spoilt, thus I go for the USB ones, the Behringer UCA202 U-Control Audio Interface looks good (why their product in amazon so cheap one, where as their official website places prices like sky high GASPS) and it’s only US$29 (Around SGD$41)Finally, there’s a need for microphone pop filter so your voice won’t sound broken when you pronounce some vowels. Also from amazon, this Nady MPF-6 Nady 6-Inch Clamp On Microphone should be able to do the job, priced at only US$11 (SGD$15).

Tada, it’s the 2010 lineup for YX purchase of cheapo home studio set up. My budget is only like that. Can only afford such rigs for audio production. =( But if they does the job, affordable stuffs are enough!

In a press media statement from Starhub today, the green will be the third and final Singapore telecommunication provider to sell Apple iPhone 3GS at an unspecific date which is stipulated to be “later this year” which point to the Christmas sales period.

With all three telcos here prodiving iPhone 3GS, I’m pretty interested to see what are they prices would be like (Singtel’s selling near $600 for a normal-tier plan which ‘chain’ you up for 2 years).

The question is, WILL it fall below $500? Then after you’ll see even aunties in Toa Payoh carry iPhone because their sons and daughters claimed ‘it’s the best and coolest phone out there’ when they only utilize it to CALL, SMS and that’s all.

M1 please don’t gek kiang go and up your phone prices ah? I keep seeing phones selling cheaper in Singtel than in the orangey stores. WHY?

But I guess it’s not possible for a price war since prices of that is controlled by Apple like in the states. We can look out for better data+voice plan!

這太扯了吧。小學生leh! 有必要那麽嚴格苛刻嗎？畢竟多數學生已經盡了全力應對考試啊！現代的考題也不比以前我們的年代容易，對小學生來説或許有一些難度，難道那老師要全班拿滿分，以在開會的時候向校長“好鏈”自己教導有方？

還記得兒時在小學的時候，數學對我來説真的不比科學難（畢竟我不是念科學的料）。我數學老師也是嚴格、恐怖出名的訓導主任(Discipline Mistress). 可是根本沒有這種無理取鬧的懲罰方式。

這樣逼學生，讓他們覺得害怕，擔心自己下次會考不好，真的會造成他們心中產生陰影。小學嘛，就是要開開心心度過那六年的學生童年。不要讓這些處罰方式影響他們未來人生的旅途。

如果問題出在老師身上，學生真的應該在所謂的“悔過書”寫道，“是你，老師，您不會教書，関我們屁事！”

It runs Android 1.6, or Donut build of the open source mobile OS. Adding on to the android interface, Sony Ericsson is implementing their own interface and naming their customised OS as UX. So hold your hands if you’re heading for SE Satio! I believe the X10 will fare greater than SE Satio, although the camera is less wonderful than Satio =S
