Are you comfortable building your own HTPC? If not, then there are a few manunfactures like Niveus and Shuttle. There are also media extenders such as xbox, slingcatcher, and the Linksys Media Center Extender.

Not sure. If your TV has a VGA connection, it should work with 60Hz.

Yes,I have 4 NAS drives set up of of one computer and need to get something to hook up to my tv that also connects to the network.
I have a ps3, but I want something dedicated. In other words, a box or mudule that has a eithernet connection and an HDMI connection. Or what ever you would suggest.

Thank you very much for your time!

Thanks, it is actually a 7-pin din connector, so I think it is something Dell designed. I am waiting for the adapter to arrive so I can try it out.

As far as VGA: I was playing with it today and during action portions of video I was getting some clipping lines. I don't know if that is just natural in a VGA connection or if the refresh rate on the VGA signal is too low (60Hz) or if the response time on the television is too low (I think it is 8ms).

There's many ways to stream audio/video from a network. One is using a HTPC. Another is to get a media extender like an xbox or slingcatcher. There are also many expensive video distribution hardware available from companies like Control4.

Hopefully the connection diagram could give you a head start. Where's your movies, pictures, etc comming from? Another PC on the network?
