Now, we will be going to draw a plain circle and will turn it into cool graphic design! On this tutorial, we will draw an eyes of a monster or let us say unknown creature. Ready?

You will know that Eraser Tool is one of the great tool in Photoshop.

Designing a poster is the most in-demand in advertising agencies nowadays. I know some of you really want to be a graphic designer especially those teenagers who are taking so much time to stay in front of their computers/laptops. I have some very young friends online, and I know that they really want to enhance their talents in designing. Yes, you might belong to them. My target readers are those teenagers who wants to be a graphic designer in future.

Create your own manipulated portrait photo.

Portrait photo you want to use for manipulation.

Song Hye Gyo On My Chimera
Hey! What is Chimera? It’s just like we are dreaming?

By this time cuties, I want you to be creative. When I am showing you my steps on designing, you should try to experiment on your own

Now, choose a photo you want to use, and we will cut its background. I used Song Hye Gyo from [x].

1. Using Pen Tool

2. On the toolbar options, use Path option.

3. Click on the starting side of your picture like the image below.

4. Once again click on the next side of your picture, and drag your pointer to make a curve line between the points that you have. Observe that we have two angle in one point.

5. To eliminate one angle on a point, just press ALT on your keyboard and at the same time click on the last point that you have.

6. Then repeat creating a points on the side of your picture.

7. Do step 4 and 5 repeatedly until you reach the last point.

8. Have you reached the last point? Now right click on the middle of your picture, then select “Make Selection…”

9. Do this options.

10. Hit delete key on your keyboard to remove the background.

You have already deleted your background!

Hey, how about creating a cloudy, fantasy style of background?
Relax, hehe! Here’s how to make a cloudy, fantasy style of background.

Hide your cut picture by clicking the “eye” icon on your layers palette.

1. From your tool bar, set your Foreground color to black, and Background color to any color you want to use. I used dark yellow green.

2. New Layer > fill your canvas to make it black.

3. Filter > Render > Difference Clouds.

4. New Layer > Fill the canvas with Foreground Color of black > Set your Background Color to orange (or any color that you want). Then repeat step #2. Erase some part of your orange cloud using the Eraser Tool. Take a look my working screen.

5. Want it to look lively? Then get some brushes at Brusheezy, look for a star brushes. And use it for your background.

6. You can add moon, planets or anything that you want to make it more lively. Make sure that for every element of the picture you have, you must always create a new layer.

7. I just erased the left side of Song Hye Gyo to make it look like she’s hiding on the cloud. And duplicated her layer and flipped to Horizontal: Edit > Transform > Flip Horizontal.

Like I usually do, I want to experiment as always And got my output above as my blog poster design.

I hope you have learned how to cut your background, and do a simple fantasy style of design. You should try to experiment each of my steps, then you will feel that your creativity is improving
