Answer: “If a company requires initial payment from you in order to work for them, they are not legitimate.”

There are a few legitimate data entry companies but are not hiring and have large waiting lists (1-2yrs). The majority of data entry jobs you seen online are scams. A real company will want you to have skills inc fast typing, may want you to know MS Excel, and will usually ask that you have high speed internet. Once in a long while you may found one online on a job website but thats rare.

If you do an advanced search on yahoo, you will find previous answers, sometimes the info on these is good as the info they gave is likely to have been verified if the answer was voted as ‘Best’.

Question: Any ideas how to make a moderate supplemental income working from home???

I am not trying to get rich working from home. I have a good career I am training for that will be in effect in the next 6-8 months. In the mean time I need to legally make $1,500-$2,000 working from home part time….not a lot, just need to pay some bills. Answer: Think of all your interests & ask yourself if any of those could be expanded into a business. Just keep in mind…what’s your expertise? What are your interests? What could you imagine yourself doing?

By researching the prospect of starting your own business — what it entails, what you need to know, helpful hints, etc — you’ll feel better prepared to take that plunge.

Answer: Yes, you can earn 375$ a day with Google. It is called Adsense. However, it is free to subscribe to it, so if they ask you money for it, they really are a scam. And, most important, it is not that easy, you will not earn 375$ a day overnight after subscribing. It takes alot of knowledge and effort, and patience. I suggest you do some reading (below).

Any freeware or shareware ideas?

Answer: QuickBooks is kind of a standard. The Pro version costs $200, but it’s very capable and your accountant can probably import the files. QB for Mac can also synchronize contacts with the Address Book app and add reminders to iCal.

Answer: It’s a scam. Facebook just shut it down today. They are trying to get back on but it won’t happen. Facebook Terms of Services are clear. It’s their web site and they can kick you off for whatever reason they want or even no reason at all. It says so in their terms of services.

Bobo was walking down the street one day minding his own business when a man wearing an advertising sign came up to him and handed him a flyer. It said:

Double discounts
on spring jackets. All are on sale now for 25% off, but with this special coupon, you can receive an additional 10% off.
~for Example:
regular price-$ 47.00
25% off- -$11.75
sale price- $35.25
coupon price- ONLY $30.55

You Save $16.45

No Sales tax

(remeber 10% Off)

Bobo selected a jacket which regular price of $123.00. The sales clerk told him that the amount he owned not including sales tax was $83.00, so he paid for the jacket and went home.

When he got home he took out his trusty calculator and was surprised that the clerk had overcharged him. He thought that he should pay only $79.95 plus tax. please help me with the math and a letter to prove that this is right.

Answer: Bobo is unfortunately mistaken. The reason this is so is because the flyer is wrong. The flyer actually is taking 35% off the discount price which is more than what the flyer actually is. Read the flyer carefully, it says to take 25% off and then an additional 10% off. This does not equal 35%. It ends up equalling around 32.5% off. Does this make sense? So, in the example, you really only save $15.28. So, when you approach Bobo, you either need to take a 32.5% discount or take a 25% discount and an additional 10% off. To do this, I’ve worked it out step by step for you below.

$123.00 x .75 [this is the actual amount he will pay.] = $92.25
$92.25 x .9 = $83.025 or $83.

Another way to do this is:

$123.00 x .25 = $30.75
$123.00 – $30.75 = $92.25
$92.25 x .1 = $9.225
$92.25 – $9.225 = $83.025 or $83

There is one other way to do this and that is to just take the actual total % off:

$123.00 x .325 = $39.975
$123 – $39.975 = $83.025 or $83

Question: Why do MLMers let themselves be convinced that the reason their product is sold in MLM is because its unique?

You often hear MLMers telling you the reason their product is sold through MLM is because its unique and requires a unique system.

But consider if you had a new product that had value, would you not bring it to the market with maximum exposure (traditional methods) if sales volume is your goal? Considering the age of the internet, of course you would. What possible advantage is any product going to receive using a system that makes sales using people who are not required to have any sales or marketing experience/expertise?

Conversely, if you had a product that would be difficult to sell but had a good story, wouldn’t it make sense to use MLM and attach a dream of becoming rich so your reps would buy up the product and fulfill their quotas without regard to the price of the product? Of course this is what happens.

Why do MLMers, most who have products unable to sell on the open market and high in cost, refuse to even accept the possibility that this might be happening?

Answer: Only because you’re so wrong in your facts. As usual. Yawn.

I think you just post your phoney facts so that you can hear from me. I’m starting to think you really enjoy my company, because you already KNOW I’m going to answer your questions by giving the other side of the coin to people who might not know how far out in left field you are.

Question: MLM/Network Marketing? Does success come at the expense of others?

To be successful in the industry of MLM/Networking you have to accept the fact that the design of the marketing plan is set up to attract the naive. Right or wrong?
You are taught that less is more when spreading the word.
To build business, do you have to accept that many fail by design? (Many independent stats show 97% or higher)
Are the trainings set up to teach taking advantage of others?
For example, not giving full information and targeting peoples needs for extra income. Many times MLM/Network Marketing creates new buying habits for the hope or chance of financial freedom yet less then 3% ever experience profit from participation.

Answer: I am one of those who went from a tragic MLM experience to the next for several years now. I used to have a lot of faith in the system, and lots of motivation in the early 90’s. Back in Europe i went with Schwartz for a few months, and didn’t make anything, actually i ended up losing over a thousand the first month, between travelling costs, openings and meetings, with fees ranging between 50 and 200 US dollars. I think i still have some of those tapes and video cassettes. For a while i thought i was simply not cut out for the system. I tried Amway for a number of years, then Herbalife. I moved to Australia for a while and there i decided to try Network21, which had considerably lower start-up costs than in Europe.

After almost 10 years of pulling out and getting sucked back in, i finally resolved that you can slice and dice any mlm system as hard as you want, but still it will never give you the result you want OR the results advertised.

Sorry folks, but a decent day-job will beat any of these mlm schemes any day of the week.

Question: Are liquid vitamin & mineral supplements better for us than vitamin & mineral pills?

Internet marketers and MLM distributors like to promote liquid vitamin & mineral formulas and claim that colloidal, sub-colloidal and now micro-colloidal liquid formulas are far easier for the body to absorb than multi-vit & mineral tablets? Is there any truth in this, or is a liquid formula just another over-hyped “snake oil”? Tell me more about your experience with them.
Tablets become liquid when digested in the gastro-intestinal tract (or gut if you prefer).Surely they will then absorb quickly after they are liquefied?

And what about the so-called natural ingredients mined from primeval forests discovered in Utah, then turned into liquid form by the Dead Doctor story-teller’s company? Are they any better than the “artificial” synthesized ingredients in tablets?

Answer: The absorption rate will obviously be quicker with the liquid form but the content is the same whether in liquid or pill form.
