/> <br /> they join with the many<br /> scatter under the clouds --some lie<br /> face down, face up, carelessly opened up<br /> on the compact, dust-powdered yard.<br /> <br /> some sink in the muddy soil<br /> behind the chicken coop<br /> and the swine pen<br /> among the stench of dirt-laden earth.<br /> <br /> if blown away and trapped<br /> in the eyes of some gods,<br /> they'd be swept,
