Another fun family in the garden! I really enjoyed photographing Melissa and her beautiful children this afternoon! I think my favorite photo is when they are playing ring around the rosie! Too much fun! Thank you, Melissa, for allowing me to photograph your family on this gorgeous day!

Hooray for another session with an old friend! I have known Jenny since we were very small children in school! Now we have children of our own — and today I got to photograph hers! Aren’t they adorable? Thank you, Jenny and family, for a lovely afternoon in the garden! I had a wonderful time and hope that all of you did, too!

Oh my goodness! This little lady was adorable and so good at having her picture taken! It was a pleasure to get to photograph her — and it was fun to see everyone in the gardens (including myself) absolutely flip over her amazing red hair! Just lovely!

This shoot was especially fun! I really enjoyed spending this evening with Allison and Lee, a newly married couple, in downtown Houston! They both had great senses of humor! Thanks guys! It was a blast!

One of my favorite things is when my daughter gets to meet my friends’ children! This day, we met the little girl of a friend who I met in college while co-stage managing a musical about the tax code! That was all the way back in 1997! We met up so that I could photograph her little girl…and my little girl, of course, snuck into some of the photos as well! We had so much fun…and I learned some very important lessons about good friends!

This family shoot is a definite favorite of mine! We met on a busy Sunday evening at Discovery Green and had so much fun! I really enjoyed getting to play with the kids and watch the family interact — two of my favorite things about being a photographer!

This sweet girl was a wonderful subject! The day of her shoot was particularly blustery and cold, so we started the shoot above ground and ended up hiding out underground for the rest! Thank you, Lauren! It was so much fun!
