Volunteering in Your PJ’s

Since December 2008, when 'Help From Home' went live, over 450 home based volunteering opportunities have been added to the site with literally hundreds more waiting in the wings to be vetted and potentially included on the website. I find it quite exciting to think that collectively, if people were able to volunteer their time in small amounts from their own home, the potential to make such a difference to the goals and aims of initiatives out there attempting to make this world a better place to live in, is huge.

Yes, the time is now to start promoting the Bloggers Unite for one day. There are many events that Bloggers are coming together to promote, inspire people to take action locally and globally. Mine of course is World Kindness Day, November 13.

Making a Difference – Gifts

If we are lost, and don't know what next to do with our life - do we throw up our arms and say "I give up?" Without realizing it, it may be the best thing. The gift is the surrendering and something that shows up for us and we discount it. It's still a gift. The Gift is getting clearer on what you do want.

They are called Workplace Diaries, as the book would give each person in the workplace to record kind acts that they performed with their co-workers, it was past from one co-work to the next. With no expectation of return. It actually, helped to increased the communication and strengthened the team work. Just from one book.
