I&#8217;m working with a high profile, fully integrated advertising agency (over 100 people) in Cleveland, OH to help  them identify a top Associate Creative Director with strong interactive marketing experience.  The agency handles national level consumer and B2B accounts at the AOR level, which includes digital.  The VP of Creative is looking to bring on an ACD who can bring new, fresh ideas to the group.  The ACD will conceptualize stand alone and integrated work, and will be supported by copy, UX, and strategy resources  </p>
<p>The selected candidate will have a well established portfolio of award winning digital work, including full web redesigns, email campaigns, and banner campaigns. Position Title: Director Multichannel Strategy </p>

Pharma marketing experience, experience in delivering enterprise integrated marketing solutions, and social and mobile technologies, strong knowledge of web strategy, design, development, and programming technologies are the big ones here!</p>
<p>Job Details:<br />
The Director, Multichannel Strategy is responsible for consulting on strategic best practices and contributing to senior management, operations and business development activities.  The emphasis is driving innovation across existing clients and the companies business units.  The role focuses on leading the design of multichannel healthcare professional and consumer experiences, the development of best practices, and the ongoing ownership of professional trends and insights. The DMS works within the strategic center of excellence to guide engagement teams in the delivery of high impact multichannel programs. Develop engaging customer experience programs that deliver on client business objectives and program goals. Ensure delivered programs adhere to multichannel best practices and provide for an integrated experience. Act as an internal thought leader on emerging technology and multichannel trends.</p>
<p>Objectives:<br />
Develop and evangelize new methodologies and best practices for multichannel marketing engagement</p>
<p>Lead innovation around emerging marketing, sales, and technology channels </p>
<p>Lead the application of our relationship marketing approach for engaging health care professionals </p>
<p>Participate in and contribute to the development of new business presentations, RFPs, and RFIs for professional engagements and programs </p>
<p>Consult current and ongoing engagements and their engagement teams on developing multichannel solutions and programs</p>
<p>Essential Functions:</p>
<p>Provide best practice consultancy services to our business units and dedicated client teams </p>
<p>Develop and deliver strategic multichannel relationship program recommendations</p>
<p>Develop professional relationship best practices and engagement methodologies </p>
<p>Educate internal team members on multichannel digital, media, and behavioral trends</p>
<p>Consult with clients on solutions to professional business challenges</p>
<p>Proactively monitor and identify emerging health care professional marketing trends</p>
<p>Participate in business development presentations and proposal responses</p>
<p>Work with technology team to identify business requirements for new emerging multichannel solutions</p>
<p>Identify and collaborate with program partners and alliances to design and deliver comprehensive professional experiences</p>
<p>Partner with analytics team to develop goals for professional programs</p>
<p>Identify and evaluate strategic and technology partnerships and opportunities</p>
<p>Expand the base of our intellectual property and proprietary best practices </p>
<p>Participate in the development and guidance of future  business solutions</p>
<p>Guide the development of industry leading market research related to emerging integrated marketing trends and best practices for professionals and consumers </p>
<p>Represent us at industry events and within industry trade publications </p>
<p>Monitor industry trends and identify relevant marketing approaches outside of the pharmaceutical industry </p>
<p>Establish company point of view around emerging trends such as global marketing, sales force integration, professional customer service, modular marketing </p>
<p>Maintain and grow a pipeline of strategic advancements that lead to methodologies, consulting services, and recommended educational topics</p>
<p>Further the companies ability to identify business innovations and to build multichannel solutions</p>
<p>MINIMUM Requirements:</p>
<p>Pharmaceutical industry knowledge required (8+ years)</p>
<p>Depth of experience in delivering enterprise integrated marketing solutions</p>
<p>Supervisory skills to manage strategic teams and consultancy engagements </p>
<p>Strong knowledge of web strategy, design, development, and programming technologies (industry speaking engagement experience – recognized expertise)</p>
<p>Excellent oral, organizational, and written communication skills including strong presentation skills</p>
<p>Ability to complete multiple tasks and manage multiple engagements within deadline</p>
<p>Strong knowledge and engagement with social and mobile technologies </p>
<p>MINIMUM Education and Experience:</p>
<p>BS/BA in Marketing or related field required</p>
<p>8 plus years experience pharmaceutical marketing required</p>
<p>Depth of experience in delivering enterprise integrated marketing solutions</p>
<p>Supervisory experience required to manage strategic teams and consultancy engagements </p>

A fully integrated, well established advertising agency is looking for a top shelf designer to join their digital team.  The agency holds agency of record accounts with several large brands, and produces a variety of digital deliverables for their clients including websites, emails, mobile ads/apps, and social media apps.  This is a great opportunity to be involved with a fully integrated marketing environment, not just a digital one.  The Interactive Designer&#8217;s key points are as follows:</p>
<p>Working closely with and supporting the Digital Art Directors, Associate Creative Directors, and Digital Creative Director, the Jr. Designer is a fresh creative thinker able to translate and extend concepts into effective interactive marketing, Web and motion-based designs. Candidate must be able to take a broad creative concept and rapidly translate it into components of a practical deliverable set. Attention to detail and ability to uphold and deliver work at the highest quality standards is essential. Passion for design in all media is essential.</p>
<p>Responsibilities:</p>
<p>·         Designing solutions that meet or exceed the project&#8217;s stated objectives</p>
<p>·         Contributing to the creation of interactive design concepts through participation in brainstorms and other idea-generating team sessions</p>
<p>·         Designing mood boards, storyboards, interactive page layouts, site grids and interface demos, photo retouching and enhancements, animated GIFs, resize boards, CMS templates, and concept versions under the direction of the more senior creative team members.</p>
<p>·         Maintaining  high quality of creative and presentation deliverables</p>
<p>·         Actively contribute to project team rapport</p>
<p>Qualifications:</p>
<p>·         Strong design portfolio with 4+ years education; 1+ years design and interactive work experience preferred</p>
<p>·         Ability to articulate and present thoughts and creative ideas</p>
<p>·         Ability to multi-task and work efficiently under pressure with careful attention to detail</p>
<p>·         A solid working knowledge of the latest versions of applicable programs &#8212; Mac OS, Photoshop and Illustrator, etc.</p>
<p>·         A basic understanding of motion design</p>
<p>·         A solid understanding of interactivity and the Web</p>
<p>·         Passion for design and eagerness to collaborate with other creative people</p>
<p>·         Self motivated, organized and accountable</p>

The agency has recently seen a drastic increase in business for their agency of record clients and is adding several new staff members.  This is a terrific opportunity for those interested in being a part of fully integrated advertising, not just digital, though this role will be focused on delivering best in class digital work.</p>
<p>The Project Manager works closely with more senior project management team members, assisting in core project management tasks such as schedule development and maintenance, program documentation, proposal writing, estimate development, risk management, team communication, internal agency trafficking of digital work, and preparing files for client review.  Some key points are as follows:</p>
<p>·         They play a large roll supporting the management of creative assets and project documentation.</p>
<p>·         Once these skills are sharp, an Associate will take on smaller projects of their own, while continuing in a support role for the larger projects.</p>
<p>·         The Project Manager lives and breathes creative production, strategizing with our larger team, while inspiring and stewarding our creative and development teams.</p>
<p>·         They require a working understanding of Web development and online advertising.</p>
<p>·         Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills are a must.</p>
<p>·         While this is not a development position, HTML and Web knowledge are required.</p>

<p>Responsibilities:</p>
<p>Executing complex designs through code that reflect the creative and art direction provided within the established technical framework</p>
<p>Creating all coded Presentation Layer deliverables</p>
<p>Working as a team member on large and small accounts, understanding how a team operates and what is expected of the various roles on the project</p>
<p>Shifting between a creative and a technical focus depending on the project need and/or the type of project</p>
<p>Establishing front-end technology requirements</p>
<p>Rapidly producing interim deliverables (such as technical specifications, prototypes, proofs of concept, etc.) in addition to the final live site, banner or application.</p>
<p>Participating in writing detailed level technical and functional specifications documentation</p>
<p>Taking initiative to research and learn emerging technologies</p>
<p>Taking a proactive role in reviewing creative before it is presented to a client to ensure technical feasibility</p>
<p>Using knowledge of flash and other front end technologies and applications to take the creative concepts to the next level.</p>
<p>Optimize applications to their most efficient state</p>
<p>Qualifications:</p>
<p>·         Advanced practical knowledge of Flash and Actionscript 2.0/3.0 as well as demonstrated abilities in such areas as:</p>
<p>Load management for large/complex sites and rich media ads</p>
<p>Script-based animation</p>
<p>Event driven programming</p>
<p>Flash video (progressive or streaming)</p>
<p>Image size optimization</p>
<p>Text localization</p>
<p>XML manipulation and messaging</p>
<p>Flash/JavaScript communication</p>
<p>Object-oriented development</p>
<p>Exposure to Flash/Flex specific MVC frameworks or experience hand-coding D/XHTML, JavaScript and CSS</p>

<p>Experience with XML: XSLT, DTD or Schema modeling, DOM/XPath/SAX parsing</p>
<p>Exposure to portal server products or content management systems (CMS)</p>
<p>User Interface Design, Information Architecture, graphic design experience a plus</p>
<p>Understanding of good design principles and ability to adhere to complex design specifications during implementation</p>
<p>Experience developing and testing across multiple browsers, platforms, DOM implementations, etc.</p>
<p>Demonstrated ability to accurately estimate and scope development work</p>
<p>Strong attention to detail</p>
<p>Strong written &amp; oral communication skills</p>
<p>Ideal candidate should have 3+ years experience in an agency environment and have working knowledge of flash development for Web sites, ad banners, rich media, and applications for social networking.</p>

I get  the opportunity to work with this particular client often, one of my favorites!  They are down to earth, like to work hard and play hard!  They treat their employees very well and offer nice career paths!</p>
<p>The must haves are experience in/with account management and strategy, (if you do not have experience doing BOTH, this position is not for you) interactive, pharma, and agency experience, again without ALL of this you will not be considered.</p>
<p>The Strategic Engagement Director is responsible for managing the company’s overall relationship with the account.  They will provide interactive/relationship marketing strategies for major pharmaceutical brands.  They will work to develop new business proposals and will also work with the development team to insure that the strategy is fully realized in the applications which are delivered. Responsibilities include maintaining knowledge of interactive marketing best practices, and maintaining a deep understanding of pharmaceutical marketing.  Strategic Engagement Directors need to be able to learn quickly, be able to solve problems independently and be able to view business problems strategically.  Individuals must be self-motivated and entrepreneurial and able to thrive in a highly collaborative environment with minimal direct supervision. The emphasis is driving the companies success within the account.</p>
<p>Essential Functions:<br />
Understand the client’s business, the business objectives, and the client’s needs</p>
<p>Define/architect strategic and tactical plans that increase the value of client brands/products</p>
<p>Develop new ideas which build the value of pharmaceutical brands</p>
<p>Develop (winning) new business development proposals and presentations in response to customer needs and/or requests</p>
<p>Lead/guide the development team to ensure effectiveness of implementation</p>
<p>Clearly identify how proposed solutions will drive brand value and develop methods to measure and optimize program/campaign effectiveness over time</p>
<p>Data analysis of market information to assist in developing new strategies and optimizing current strategies.  Data analysis will include web metrics, market research, and the development of ROI models</p>
<p>Provide leadership to clients and internal teams in the area of interactive pharmaceutical marketing</p>
<p>Serve as a senior level external representative of the company</p>
<p>Identify and communicate opportunities to improve company performance by improving processes and/or adding company offerings</p>
<p>Assist with pre-sales solicitation calls and presentation meetings and presentation with prospects and existing clients</p>
<p>Develop by-line articles</p>
<p>Ownership of all active engagements within the account</p>
<p>Development and maintenance of account plan</p>
<p>Development of senior level client relationships</p>
<p>Integration with strategy and business development</p>
<p>Representing/sharing best practices between engagements</p>
<p>Continuously build trust, credibility, and gain referrals from existing brands</p>
<p>Responsible for overall growth and success of account relationship, cultivating new brand and account relationships, as well as non-brand contacts such as IT, purchasing, etc.</p>
<p>Work with clients to uncover business needs and objectives, craft appropriate strategies, and identify/implement products to help achieve client goals</p>
<p>Develop the importance of online marketing in the overall marketing mix</p>
<p>Create and interpret effective analysis to support marketing recommendations</p>
<p>Effectively manage on-site engagement management team of up to five marketing professionals.  Foster teamwork and a constructive work environment.  Provide team leadership that rewards creativity</p>
<p>Manage financial performance of the company’s relationship with the client</p>
<p>Manage the account meetings, maintain the pipeline, and ensure that the sales forecast is submitted to management</p>
<p>Minimum Qualifications:</p>
<p>Experience with, pharmaceutical marketing – both online and offline channels</p>
<p>Supervisory skills to manage team assigned to the account</p>
<p>Strong knowledge of web strategy, design, development, and programming technologies</p>
<p>Experience with creating new ideas and solutions, and, applying existing ideas in new ways to solve pharmaceutical business problems</p>
<p>Experience with sales principles and consultative solution selling</p>
<p>Strong leadership and motivation skills</p>
<p>Experience demonstrating innovation in ePharma marketing</p>
<p>Possess proactive approach to organic business development and in presenting eMarketing innovations to clients and prospects</p>
<p>Experience with brand relationships at large and mid-sized PharmCo a plus</p>
<p>Travel to active clients and assigned pre-sales opportunities when needed</p>
<p>Travel</p>
<p>Minimum Education and Requirements:</p>
<p>Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) or equivalent; or seven to ten years related strategy experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.</p>
<p>7-10 years experience in pharmaceutical strategy, marketing, interactive, and business modeling.</p>

This is a best in class level of talent, and needs a leader who brings a perfect blend of management and creative leadership.  The CD will be responsible for setting and executing an outstanding visual design standard for the company&#8217;s products and web presence.  To gain an understanding of the visual appeal of their products, think of Microsoft&#8217;s products.</p>
<p>This person will also be the face to the product team and executive team when discussing new product releases, and revision to current ones.  Additionally, there will be three presentation layer/ ASP.net engineers on this team, so this leader needs to have solid experience either working with that type of a development team, or some other type of technical team to be able to prove competency technically.  It is expected that this person will be hungry to learn, and hungry to learn about the company&#8217;s web development oriented products.  </p>
<p>Portfolios must be provided, along with a robust sampling of designs that you&#8217;ve led as an Art Director or Creative Director. The company views it&#8217;s website as a product, a place of commerce (though not officially an e-commerce platform), so they need a PM who understands how to run a project with business objectives in mind beyond the marketing message.  The websites being produced will receive traffic that puts them in the top few hundred websites on the net.  </p>
<p>Agency experience, or time in a similar, sophisticated corporate web group is required, with over five years of overall digital project management experience required.  Sample work MUST INCLUDE the management of large, robust websites that would budget in the $200,000K plus category.  Candidates must also have a knack for corporate culture, understanding the different pacing and patience involved with pushing through a large internal project, as compared with pushing out projects as fast as possible from an agency.</p>

A large B2B corporation has a significant presence in Harrisburg, PA, where the marketing teams of two of the company&#8217;s leading business units reside.  Each unit is looking to recruit an E-Marketing/E-Business manager, both positions representing a multi-billion dollar product portfolio.  There is a corporate E-Business team that supports the corporate brand, and the company wide e-commerce platform as a whole.  This is a new platform, yet to be released, and will significantly change the way the company markets its products.  The E-Marketing Managers will work with this corporate team from the business units, and drive interactive strategy and marketing as it pertains to those specific audiences.</p>
<p>These positions will provide eBusiness leadership, strategic direction and oversight to a major electronics business.  The Global Manager will be responsible for developing and executing web marketing strategies for the business unit in alignment with critical business strategies.  This includes projects to increase website reach and to help define customer preference and value.  This professional will also lead a team of functional experts who manage day-to-day and strategic website usability and eBusiness development initiatives.  The successful candidate will design and create programs and campaigns to generate revenue growth, as well as providing ongoing online support for customer loyalty programs.</p>
<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>
<ul>
<li> Responsible for setting global eBusiness strategies, end-market launches, and ongoing management of the eBusiness function as an engine for revenue growth. Develop and manage global eBusiness collaboration &#8211; in light of various industry customers and partners to ensure maximum channel effectiveness and ROI.</li>
<li> In collaboration with corporate and BU-based eBusiness teams, develop strategies and execute a comprehensive web-based communications program for products and services/solutions that deepens customer engagement and creates undisputed differentiation and value for the company &#8212; while creating online demand generation. Considerations should include robust eCatalog improvements, email marketing, search engine optimization, social networking, web advertising, online training/webinars and consideration of virtual design platform that could be used by customers and other stakeholders.</li>
<li> Demonstrated successful experience with implementing a customer database management system that can be segmented and mined for targeted online/interactive customer communications efforts.</li>
<li> In cooperation with corporate eBusiness function and business unit Marketing function, lead development of eBusiness strategic and technology plans to leverage the use of the internet and to optimize business functions. Work closely with business unit marketing, industry management, sales, distribution and product management to formulate and achieve goals. Develop an integrated eBusiness platform for all products &#8211; across numerous geographies, industries, sales channels and customer types.</li>
<li> This position may also be charged with administering the business unit Marketing &amp; Communications budget in the region in which the successful candidate is based.</li>
<li> Implement metrics to measure effectiveness of eBusiness practices and ROI.</li>
<li> Monitor competitors&#8217; products and website changes, as well as trends in the industry, by aligning with industry approaches, as well as certain product/brand/solution strategies. Act quickly and collaboratively to preempt competitive challenges.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p>
<ul>
<li> 10+ years of senior eBusiness or marketing and/or demonstrated interactive, internet or eCommerce project management experience &#8211; preferably with a large, global B to B company. The successful candidate has successfully built and scaled a complex global eBusiness/web strategy.</li>
<li> Proven ability to utilize market research, customer insights, competitive intelligence and internal business plans to create and execute successful eBusiness programs that strengthen competitive position in served markets.</li>
<li> Proven ability to set priorities and administer budget to established goals a must. Previous P&amp;L responsibility a plus.</li>
<li> Must have excellent relationship skills to manage partnerships around the globe, as well as to collaborate internally with various stakeholders. Ability to interact effectively across the functions, interests and geographies of a large, global business unit is required.</li>
<li> Proven ability to manage and develop a team of eBusiness professionals located in the Americas, EMEA and Asia Pacific.</li>
<li> An innovative thinker and creative problem solver. Ability and willingness to challenge the status quo.</li>
<li> Proven ability and willingness to roll up sleeves and do the work &#8211; ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who can set direction and goals, but who is also adept at generating high-quality work product in support of goals.</li>
<li> Strong ability to express ideas and influence in others in writing and orally.</li>
