1. ted and robin are ment to be together.
just watch season 1 and 2. and ted will never fully get over robin. he will always love her.
2. end of season 7 did show us robin was in a wedding dress. this doesn’t mean that robin has to marry barney! could be a double wedding or anything this show has crazy turns all over the place.
-what if it is barney and robins wedding.. and robin wants to ask ted one last time if he still has feelings for her? would he say yes? i would think so.. but you never know with this show
3.this isnt a happy idea but.. it seems like to me the kids dont know about the real mother. what if ted does find a great “girl” and alll and they have 2 kids.. then something happened and she passed away… i mean if this happened and all if ted and robin rnt married at 40. then they will get married.
4. barney? i think barney will be with quinn or ted’s sister? more likely ted’s sister heather..
5. in season 8 i think the writers have to have most of a season for us to get to know who ever ted marries.. js
*what if somehow robin does get preg. just would be a how i met your mother miracle!

Pretty sure the kids haven’t aged (or said anything) for a long time because all that footage was shot years ago and has been recycled as the show kept surviving season after season. It also makes sense in the fictional sense, because supposedly, Ted is telling this story over a rather short period of time.

Here’s my theory. We know: she was at the St. Pat’s Party in Spring 2008, she was probably a senior in college in fall 2010, and his baby daughter is alive in spring 2015. So at the very latest they marry/get pregnant in the summer of 2014. That leaves at most two seasons (which is ok, because that would be 9 and pretty much all settled down).
So we’re looking for someone who was ~22 in 2010 or born in 1988. Also a brunette. Ted turned 30 in Spring 2007, born in 1977.
One thing I have noticed is that Lyndsy Fonseca, seemingly has not aged since the second season. That and both kids don’t say anything anymore. Fonseca was born in… 1987. She’s brunette and the line “you look just like your mother” could be used. I think it would be almost too easy.

Actually when lily says to ted best man you’ve been summoned He goes to barneys room so barney is not marrying robin he will mary Nora or Quinn

Well, everyone… nice theory. It’s not true though. I’ve met Mr.Ted Mosbey and his new wife. My dad is Barney and Barney, my dad, marrys Stella. The person who backstabs Ted at their wedding by leaving him at the alter. Oh yeah, Ted marry’s a girl named Tracy. In one of the episodes a girl meets him named Tracy. Then hee said “And that kids, is how i met your mother” Then the kids yelled WHAT?!?!?!?! Why else would they yell what, if they fell for it that, their mom’s name is Tracy. I’m not saying the last name or how she looks, but be loooking for a girl named Tracy. You’ll see her!
