If you do not see Offline files option in Network and Internet in Control Panel, then it could be that you are running an edition of OS which does not support Offline Files feature. Offline files feature is provided only in Vista Business and Vista Ultimate editions. It is not supported by Vista Home and Vista Home premium editions. Also Windows Server 2008 does not have offline files feature

Right click the network share/folder/file you want to be available offline, you can see the option 'Always available offline' in the context menu. Click on it and offline files marks the selected file/folder for offline availability and copies them to the local CSC folder.

After this machine need to be rebooted. Post reboot we can notice that there are no offline files stored in CSC cache.

Right click on Start button.
Select Properties
Make sure that Start menu tab is the active tab

Select customize against the start menu/classic start menu depending on which

It can be done in the following way.
Right click on Start button in the task bar

Select Properties



Under Privacy section uncheck "Store and display a list of recently opened files"

Click Apply and OK

Click on Move
Select the destination folder and click OK. Then you will see a window like below. 



Click Yes if  you want the files from the old location to be copied to the new location. Otherwise click No.
