Windows 7 is officially released in 2009, and we will have another major release in 2012. Obviously, the code name will be called as Windows 8. What would you expect for the Windows 8 when the Windows 7 has finally fixed the problems of Vista?

We have posted the news about installing Google Chrome OS for virtual machine on Friday, and we think we have to try it also. I have used the VMWare Fusion 3 to install on the MacBook. Create a new virtual machine and uses the default settings. It only takes few minutes because Google Chrome OS is actually small. To enter to the OS, type “mark” as login name and password. You will be able to browse the internet with this virtual Google Chrome OS. There is not much you can play because it works like a browser and nothing else. Emm… If you have discovered anything special, tell us in the comments.

Click the following gallery to see how I install step by step with VMWare Fusion 3.

Chuck Norris, for those readers who may not know, is the American martial artist. He has served in United States Air Force. And he has acted in the movie Way of Dragon with Bruce Lee. Chuck also have the name as “toughest man in America”. Ludigames bring this classic artist on the iPhone game recently. It is a great action game even you don’t have any idea about Chuck Norris.

In Chuck Norris: Bring on the Pain (US$1.99), besides punching the enemies, you will have to release prisoners of war. There are several challenges in the game so techniques are required. For instance, you will have to throw at monkeys or tilting the iPhone to keep the balance while moving in the tough situations. Shooting the gasoline or the ground may also help to kill the enemies more quickly. After playing few levels, go to “DOJO” from the main menu to build your own toughest Chuck Norris.

There is a creative feature that you can create your own enemy. Choose “Camera Feature” from the main menu, select your friend archenemy and activate. When you start to play the game next time, you will be able to shoot and punch the archenemy now.

Why would I say this game is funny? It is because you will see those funny and classic dialogs during the game. When Chuck Norris is dead, the game prompts you with message like “Chuck Norris is not game over. You are”, “Death once had a near-Chuck-Norris experience”, etc. Looks like the developer is a big Chuck Norris Fan.

Now you can “burn” your surroundings on fire to have fun. No. Not really. Firefighter 360 (US$0.99) is the augmented reality game that puts the virtual fire and more. When you start the game, it opens the camera. When you are viewing the real stuff in front of you, you have to move yourself 360 degrees. You will see there are fire, a woman and fire truck. Besides moving yourself 360 degrees, you have to move forward or backward, press the button on the bottom right to put down the fire, get more water or save the woman.

The gaming experience is fun, actually. When you are trying to put down the fire, you will see the virtual water animation. When you are unable to put down the fire, the app will make the iPhone vibrates. The graphics are pretty good. But, you will need to use lots of spaces when playing the game since you have to move yourself 360 degrees.

As you can see, the search buttons are looking better with blue color effects. In the results page, Google uses the three-panel design. On the left, there are few nice icons besides the text. It’s actually the search option and now it is opened by default. The search result is now more organized.

It is not sure when will this new Google launched. Let’s hope Google will select more users to test.

Most mobile phone plans include MMS and SMS packages, but users prefer to send SMS cause it is faster. But, it’s definitely boring. FunMail provides the free iPhone app which can quickly transfer the plain messages to colorful messages. When you type the messages in the app, it will automatically suggest the related pictures you can use. You can also select the contacts from the app easily.

It does not mean FunMail only works with iPhone. They have already provided the lite version at http://m.funmail.com. It seems they are also working on the apps for other phones. But, would you or your friend prefer to read simple and quick text or multimedia messages?
