GQ Magazine drops a couple f-bombs in proclaiming its love for our favorite stripped down bike, the Linus Roadster Classic, in its Baddest Man on Campus: A GQ Back To School Guide.

Burning Man has begun. The 50,000 people who will comprise the collection of human ephemera at this annual event have started congregating in the middle of the desert to create what will become the seventh-largest city in Nevada, replete with its own Post Office, Black Rock City.

While the point of Burning Man (and one of the unspoken rules) is to be “off the grid,” that doesn’t mean that you can’t participate vicariously through that same grid. The live Burning Man webcast is available on uStream and you can tune in to watch the crowds gather as the art installations and massive tents are erected across the giant semi-circle that makes up the boundaries of Black Rock City.

Rather than painting her subjects on a flat canvas, 24-year-old artist Alexa Meade paints directly on her subjects with layers of acrylic paint, then either displays them in live installations or photographs them, often contrasting with non-painted subjects and settings. Street trials riding phenom Danny “MegaSkill” Macaskill is back with another insane, soon-to-have-a-million-plus-views video of him doing “No effin’ way” inducing moves on a bike. The film, which was shot in an industrial train yard and deserted buildings, was directed by Stu Thomson (Cut Media/MTBcut) for Channel 4′s documentary Concrete Circus. Music is “The Wolves” by Ben Howard.
