Took this shot of Pamela Love last month in vintage flame boots.

I've personally tried hunting them down since last year and these just popped up online.

Get them here in red/black or black/black and wear them into the ground.

I left with these. For now. . .

This is still a new brand to New York so I popped into their 5th avenue shop to check it out.

I only had a couple of minutes but did notice all the clean silhouettes everywhere e.g the white neoprene dress shown above. I will pop back there soon to take a closer look.

These leather platforms got my heart so I left with those. Instant minimalism update!

I'm sure all of you have seen these on iPhones. They are popping up everywhere like erm.... rabbits.

I think I first saw them during fashion week, highlighted on street style sites in tight crop shots of the owners texting or making calls. Since then, these bugs bunny ears are a recognizable staple all over the place. My cover is pretty boring and bears a massive chip where it took the brunt for saving my iPhone during another oh-sh**-don't-break fall.

I recently met up with Jenn from Le Fashion who wowed me with her new crystal like studded cover. It sparkles like charcoal jewels and is one of the chicest versions I've seen (most studded versions look a little gaudy). This didn't. However I'd be even more afraid if a blinged out protector fell to the floor from my clumsy fingers.

I sometimes carry teeny bags like this so getting anything with bunny ears or anything else attached wouldn't work. Note: I've seen fluffy tails sold with the ears. No comment.

If anything, it reminds me that a cover upgrade is needed. Sans ears. Send recs my way please.

I found this leopard number on eBay to wear messenger style. Naomi's YSL version here is gorgeous and this is an easy way to get the look.

Her shirt is by H&M. The coat is Zara. The shades are Ray Ban. The pants and boots are from All Saints.

I already knew where these boots were from before I asked her. I've been aware of them for the past 2 years - and counting.

Every now and then someone comes out with the perfect version of an item. To me in this case - it's this combat boot. I've seen the buckled straps worn in different ways (she is wearing the bottom strap threaded through the top buckle with the flap folded down in front. Cuffed oversized chinos + shirt = relaxed chic. It really is the teeny details...

Bam! Every now and then you see someone that stops you.

Rachel Rabbit White looks like the essence of 1960s rock and roll. That sergeant pepper beautifully detailed dress. Her long time owned and adored vintage bag. I have a soft spot for Queen bags too like this (my nick name for them). Mine is black but a bright one like Rachel's is perfect for right now.

Everthing reminded me of the aesthetic of Anna Sui which reminds me. I have a recent find Anna Sui dress I need to show you soon....

Where to Get This Look:

An Antik Batik paisley print or leather trim Karen Zambos dress or a short sleeved dress like this that looks vintage. Add bright tights or tie dyes and layer a DVF or Forever 21 pom pom scarf.

Boot options: Rachel Comey, Ash or Dolce Vita (if you want height) or fringed Minnetonkas (I have the same ones).

I just saw these online this morning and had to share. I still like that you can get the look of Isabel Marant hi-tops without paying the price so to speak.

These are by Lemara. The greys tops ones are my favourite.

I was discussing the merits of finding the look of a designer shoe with Vivianne on Where did U Get That STREET who was wearing gorgeous all black hi-tops.

These ones are mine which I still get women and men ask me where they can get them.

For me, it's not easy finding the perfectly worn in semi sheer scarf.

I see countless draped around the necks of lovelies on the streets in New York year round. All in different textures, sizes and colours - tassles optional like this super bright one. I live in my black one by Love Quotes but it's.....black. Safe and boring. The above one stopped me in my tracks long enough to take the shot but not ask where did she get hers. #FAIL

It looks like something faded out and softened after several washes - although these days what really is when anything can be bought to look like it is?

Thx to a couple of readers (thank you!) they identified it from Free People. Apparently this version above is sold out (crap!) but I settled on the grey and blue version. I'm already imagining a couple of ways to wear it including draped over shoulders.

Not that you hadn't already guessed it, but yes I caved and got it here. If anyone spots a Union Jack version, do a girl a favour will you and let me know?
