用过 VMware 的朋友知道，在 VMware Tools 里有一个很方便的 Shrink 功能可以收回未使用的硬盘空间，但是在 VirtualBox 里没有看到这样的选项。在 VirtualBox 里 Shrink 的方法，需要三个步骤：

第一步：在 Guest OS 中整理磁盘碎片。可以使用 Windows 自带的碎片整理工具，不过更推荐使用 Defraggler。这是一款免费的磁盘碎片整理工具，使用简单，整理速度很快。

第二步：将 Guest OS 的磁盘剩余空间清零，也就是把0值写入磁盘未使用空间的每一个字节。这一步是关键，因为在下一步里，所有只包含0值的磁盘空间将被收回。可以用 Sysinternals 出品的一个命令行工具 SDelete 来完成这一步。在 Guest OS 的命令行里执行：

sdelete -c c:\

其中c:\是要清零的磁盘分区，应依次对所有虚拟磁盘分区执行这一步，如d:\、e:\等等。

第三步：使用 VirtualBox 提供的 VBoxManage 工具收缩磁盘映像文件。在 Host OS 的命令行中进入 VirtualBox 的安装目录（缺省为C:\Program Files\Oracle VM VirtualBox），执行：

VBoxManage modifyvdi "Windows XP.vdi" compact

其中 Windows XP.vdi 是要收缩的磁盘映像文件名，请根据实际名称和路径修改。

经过这三个步骤以后，就可以查看VDI文件收缩效果了。以上介绍的前两个步骤所使用的工具是针对 Windows 的，如果 Guest OS 是 Linux 或其它系统，可以找一找相同功能的工具软件，原理都是一样的。

Alt + Pad+：选中和光标所在处文件一样扩展名的所有文件，例如我们要选择某个目录下所有的MP3文件，那就可以先用鼠标单击目录中任意一个MP3文件，然后同时按下“Alt + Pad+”，就完成了对该目录下所有MP3文件的选择

Alt + Shift + Enter：计算当前窗口下所有文件夹的大鞋按前文软件设置中的显示选项卡的文件夹排序方式和文件一样设置后再点击顶栏的“大小”可使文件夹参与排序，迅速找到占用空间最大的文件夹

Alt + Shift + F5：压缩文件同时删除原文件（即移动文件到压缩包内）

Alt+F1 更改左窗口的驱动器

Alt+F2 更改右窗口的驱动器

Ctrl+S 显示快速搜索栏

Ctrl + ←、→：如果光标在窗格顶部或非压缩文件处，将左右窗格的显示内容调整为一样的；如果光标所在处是一个文件夹，在左或右窗格打开此文件夹；如果光标所在处是一个压缩文件，在左或右窗格打开此文件

Ctrl + B：显示当前文件夹及子文件夹下的所有文件

Ctrl + D：常用文件夹列表（相当于收藏夹），把你经常要用到的文件夹放在这个列表里

Ctrl + F：连接ftp

Ctrl + M：批量更改文件名

Ctrl + U：左右窗口交换目录

Ctrl + T：新建目录标签并激活

Ctrl + P：进入命令行对话框并带入当前路径

Ctrl + Q ：在另一侧窗口中显示选中的文件夹属性或文件内容

CTRL + TAB：转到下一标签

F3：查看文件内容，象一些文本文件，直接按F3看内容，安装一些插件后还可以看图（TC自带的只支持看BMP等很少种类的图片）、icl图标库等内容

F4：编辑文本文件，先把光条移到要编辑的文件上，再按此键调用记事本（可自行设置要调用的程序）编辑

F5：复制文件，将选中的文件复制到对边窗格（比如选中了左窗格的文件，就复制到右窗格所在文件夹中）

F6：移动文件，将选中的文件移动到对边窗格（比如选中了左窗格的文件，就移动到右窗格所在文件夹中）

F7：新建文件夹，可以输入多级目录，比如：a\b\c\d

F8 / Del：删除文件到回收站，和资源管理器一样如果同时按住Shift的话则直接删除而不放到回收站中

Pad*：反向选择

Pad-：弹出一个窗口来让你指定要减少选择的文件类型

Pad+：弹出一个窗口来让你指定要选择的文件类型，比如可以将所有的mp3、ape、flac和wma文件定义为音频文件类型

Shift + ↑↓：向上或向下选择

Shift + F4：新建文本文件，调用记事本或你自己设定的文本编辑器进行编辑

Shift + F5：复制到当前窗格所在文件夹中，常用于拷贝文件复本以备用

Shift + F6：修改文件名，也可以象资源管理器一样单击文件名来修改名字

Space：即空格键，如果是选择文件夹的话，按下空格同时会显示文件夹的容量

CTRL+ALT+字母(s)：定位到该字母开头的目录或文件
