My main musical project has been put to sleep for 2 years, as i've been involved into several other projects (mostly concerning the music label "LibreCommeLair").

I'll soon be back on the knobs for several collaborations first, and then for new original compositions !

Volfoniq chosed 10 of his closest musical collaborators to rework several tracks from his album :
Buguinha Dub (Brazil), Alberto Caballero (Canada); LATA (Chile), Mildtape Dub (Italy), Jambassa (Italy), Tony Dubshot (Natherlands), Ras Amerlock (USA), Arrogalla (Sardinia), DU3normal (Hungary) and Lowknee (Greece)
The tunes are currently out for mastering, and should be released next month.

Stay tuned ! Meanwhile, why not get back on the original album while waitin for the remixes ?

You want to be part of Volfoniq upcoming album to be out in october 2011 ?
Let's use the power of Creative Commons licenses ! http://creativecommons.org/
Record and send the word "Hello" and "Goodbye" in your own language, and send it to me, they will be included in a track of the LP !

This is how to :
- Record "Hello" and/or "Goodbye" in your own language : in Mp3 320kbps or Wav format
- The recording must be personnal, no internet grabing
- As many languages as you want, one record per language
- Tag the files with the language used and your name. Example : "Hello_Greek_Niklos.mp3" or "Goodbye_Turkish_Sami.wav"
- Send the files using the group dropbox (CLICK HERE ) . You don't need to have a Soundcloud accout, just click "chose file"
- All the submissions will be used !
- The submited files will remain online, as free download databse for anyone who wish to use them, using Creative Commons licenses
- Deadline to send file is october 5th (added a bit more time to jump in !)

Feedback from Telerama Dub Festival 2010 (video)

A great event with smooth people in a friendly mood, that's what I got from the Telerama Dub Festival last week-end !

Big up to the people in the place that really got into my liveset, we had an sort of communion I enjoyed a lot.
I got this nice video from Mr34Dubwise on youtube if you want to get a peep :

The track I play is one from my upcoming album to be out spring 2011 so it's a surprise preview ! It's featuring : Benjamin Leska (Denmark) on the Organ, Tribuman (France) on the trumpet, and Control Tower (France) on the trombone.

We should make a medley-teaser of this live set to introduce the album, so stay tuned on the usual channels ;)

Hey everybody,

Some time ago, I put several of my track sources on LibreCommeLair (LCL, my "home" label) free sound bank (check here : http://www.lclweb.org/free_soundbank.htm )

There are already some nice reworks that come from various countries, so I'd like to share them with you....

- The latest was from Tony Dubshot, a dub producer from the Lowlands, based on my Drumsong version :

Exclusive Volfoniq Dubplate for "Around The World in Dubs" FM show

Volfoniq is honoured to be part of the 4th annual "Around the World in Dubs" special ! For this occasion I prepared a special dubplate in collaboration with mexico-german vocalist Bankil Vrata, big up International vibe ! (the final version of this collaboration is to be out later this year on LCL dub netlabel)

This year special will air on WLUW-FM (88.7) in Chicago and be streamed live at: http://www.wluw.org this coming Friday 4/16 from 2:00 - 4:00 a.m. US Central time (8am to 10am GMT).

The show will be hosted by Terry C. (aka TurnTableTerrorist) and joining him will be Dr. StrangeDub (from KFAI-FM in Minneapolis). Netwaves, the belgian netaudio activists, made three shows during their visit of the Netaudio Berlin festival, including interviews and netlabel tracks.

#1 includes a Volfoniq track (along with Raganova, Scaff, Gosprom, Rafiralfiro, Zengineers, Peak, Marko Fürstenberg, Normaa and Disrupt) and an interview of Raimund, one of the co-organisors of the festival.

Volfoniq is proud to be part with many many great artists of the Netaudio Festival, in Berlin between 8th and 11th of october.

Lots of supernice things will happen during these days, including the netaudio fair, daytime events, lots of live gigs and Djays, performances... Click the flyer to learn everyting !

Volfoniq will be on the "Dub / Techdub / 8 bit" floor, saturday oct 10th @ Club Maria.

"From the 8th to the 11th of October 2009, Netaudio Berlin will be gathering the international netaudio community for a four-day music and conference festival in Berlin, under the title “East meets West”. 2009 will mark the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Iron Curtain. We recall pictures of hands reaching out to pull people from both sides up onto the Berlin wall. The event will take place at Maria, a venue situated immediately on the former Berlin ‘death strip’ once dividing the city and the world into eastern and western hemispheres..."
