Here are three sites I am always on.

Tuts + - This is my favorite network of tutorial sites. They have tutorials for everything. You will totally level up with their tutorials.

Adobe Kuler - Do you need color inspiration for a new design, Adobe Kuler is your answer. It is even built into Adobe Creative Suite 4. Also check out this plugin that lets you integrate Kuler into the Mac OS X Color picker.

PSFK - A trend and innovation company they post awesome articles about brands, trends and new ideas. PSFK is a daily read for me.

Having Fun Shooting HDRs

Harry (VP intern) and I tried to shoot some HDR photographs with the Canon 5d MKII. We were using a Nikon 50mm Lens with an Canon adopter.

HDR stands for High Dynamic Range. With a high dynamic range you have the ability to pull colors and detail out of a photograph. You create an HDR image by shooting 3-7 consecutive photographs at bracketed shutter speeds. If you would like to learn more about shooting HDR’s check out Tuts + PhotoTuts guide to shooting HDR’s.

We used Photoshop to merge the 3 pictures together. Shooting HDR’s of people is not easy. Harry’s HDR set came out pretty good.

Our results are below. My next HDR subjects are going to be landscapes, maybe a nice sunset.
