Here is information on some of our current line up of Optimus series gloves.

The Vinci Research and Development department has been working for the past two years to bring you the newest Vinci Pro glove series, the Optimus series. The Optimus series already made its way into the Major Leagues as gloves in this series were tested throughout the 2012 season at the Major League level.

Every glove in this series features a top of the line leather. This leather has proven to be very durable and provides a unique feel that we think Vinci Pro fans will appreciate. Gloves in the Optimus series are also made with rolled welting which makes for a better looking glove. By far, this is the best Vinci Pro Baseball glove series to date, which is why it was named “Optimus,” which is the Latin word meaning “BEST.”

The Optimus JV comes in Walnut with a black mesh back and black lace. This 11.5 inch glove is great for any infielder looking to up their game in style and the sophisticated look is just the beginning! With an I-Web style of web and an open back this could just be your next Vinci glove! The pocket design is just right for quick catch and release of the ball during play.

Outfielder’s will enjoy playing ball with the new Vinci Optimus BM Baseball Glove. Vinci’s signature deep pocket design makes catching fly balls a cinch and the longer length of this glove helps extend player reach and range. This 13 inch Vinci features a closed back design and dual H-Post web style and it comes in walnut with a black mesh back.

Vinci’s new 11.5 inch Optimus BV will make any pitcher the center of attention with its walnut leather, open back, black lace, and solid web design.

Made for both Infield and Pitcher positions, the Vinci Optimus JC is an all-leather glove with open back and Net-T web in an 11.5 inch size.

These four gloves being made in the sizes noted above, but can be customized in sizes up to 13.5 inches. Vinci will also allow color customization on gloves in this series with multiple color options for the lace and mesh. Mesh colors available include navy blue, gray and black. How long does it take to get a custom glove made?

WAYNE: Because of our quality control it takes 4 to 6 weeks to build your custom glove. Once the order is placed. 1.The leather is cut. 2. Name embroidered on the flat leather. 3. Leather and padding is sewn together. 4. Web and lace is added. 5.The glove is then inspected and shipped directly to you.

What is the difference between the glove I can purchase and the gloves the Professional Players use?

WAYNE: Nothing… We use the same leather, padding, and lace that we use for the Pros.

If I want to order a glove and have expedited shipping what do I do?

WAYNE: Our gloves go out with 3 major shipping companies now. USPS, UPS, & FEDEX. They all have ways to expedite shipping for an additional charge. You can call us at 888-529-6864, email me at askwayne@vincipro.com or simply put a note in the comment section of check out.

There is no store in my area. How do I purchase a VINCI glove without worrying about if I will like the glove or not?

WAYNE: We guarantee you will like our products. If you get a product from us and you are not completely satisfied, you may return it within 15 days in NEW condition, not conditioned or broken-in in any way. We will replace the product with another of equal value or issue a full refund.

What do I do if a glove I want shows out of stock on your website?

WAYNE: Call or email me and I may be able to help you with a suitable replacement or let you know when that glove will be available. We are constantly making more gloves.  Our production line is busy especially this time of year.

How do you feel about the new Optimus gloves?

WAYNE: I love them!!! The leather is the best quality leather I have ever seen!!! I only wish these gloves were around when I played ball… Maybe my grand kids will get to use them!

Spring is here! So are 3 NEW Vinci glove models. Two are additions to our extremely successful  Optimus series glove line. The other is a new color that we have added to our CP Series. The JV20 in cream with dark brown, which has already been a hit in black, as well as Navy with white.

The Optimus PJ 13 inch is a great glove for either baseball or softball. Our top of the line walnut leather has been tested at the major league level for the past two years. Carlos Torres of the New York Mets calls it “The best glove I’ve ever seen”.

The Optimus JS is a 12 inch baseball glove that’s great for pitchers and infielders. Because of it’s deep pocket, it can also be used in softball for infield positions.

The CP Series JV20 is sure to be a hit! This glove is modeled after the glove worn in the minor leagues by Robinson Cano of the New York Yankees.

Another new feature we recently added is the ability to add your own custom name embroidery to any STOCK glove within our limited series, mesh series, -22 series, or Optimus series gloves. That’s right, your glove doesn’t have to be custom to do this. There is an additional charge of $30 per glove for this service. Glove takes additional 3-5 weeks as embroidery is done before your glove is assembled.
