Winds get wild, burst through open windows and doors, they take away the papers from the table. At the mornings it is not possible to live without a hot cup of Dominican coffee. I come to the air-conditioned office and start to shake from the cold, but Dominicans laugh: "How is it possible that a Russian girl is afraid of this temperature?" "I am already Caribbean" - I smile in response. Once a year the ground shakes a little bit and during that time hot jets of air become a little more in the sea at the island coast. But volcanoes are still sleeping.
