So we may decide to stay at the Golden Nugget instead of the strip this time but I'm worried I'm going to be disappointed in the dining choices. Let's face it, on the strip there are unlimited options. We know where to go for dinner downtown but not sure where to go for good eggs Benedict or quiche. And we heard about the deli in Binions but where's a place...

Hey all-

I'm taking two days off work and heading to Vegas for the Fourth of July. We land Tuesday night and leave Saturday afternoon (4 nights total). I'm a $15-25 blackjack/craps player, and I like playing at swanky properties, so I rarely get comped. In a nice bit of timing, I just a 3 night Su-Th comp (plus free-play) from Sheldon Adelson's House of Gingrich. I'm...

Hi everyone,

I'm helping plan an August Vegas trip/fantasy football draft. There will be approximately 10 guys in their mid-30s (wait, it gets nerdier), some of whom found Aria's pool too quiet last year. We have settled on Mandalay Bay as this year's spot.

Do any of you have advice on which Mandalay bungalow would work best for a large group? Despite our advanced age, we get loud, and some of us...

Being this happened on Saturday night, I'm sure many of you already know this. Disguised as Elvis, two men attempted to steal $115k from a BJ table using pepper spray. One of them got away, but the other was wrangled by an employee when his pepper spray malfunctioned, and he kept trying to use it, rather than running away. It was just so meticulously planned; how could this fail? Also,...

We've never stayed downtown before and with all the new art and bars and such my husband wanted to check it out. We usually hit Fremont st. 1 of the 3 nights were there, for dinner and cheaper tables. But I've read good things blogged about the Nugget. It might be fun to be downtown and check out the griffin, and tiki room and not need to pay for cabs...

Has anyone stayed at Mandalay bay lately? We got a free upgrade to a great room. Rates were only $69 plus that annoying resort fee. Were going Memorial day so we could still change hotels. We haven't stayed there for many years but loved it then. Looks like Planet Hollywood has remodeled their rooms. That was my other thought. I just don't want to get there and find it worn...

-I've also had the 2 story loft at Tropicana and their Grand Palm suite. The 8 person jacuzzi is just begging for a naked stripper party!!

'Ralph Lamb' 60s Vegas Crime Drama Coming To CBS

It was picked up for this Fall and was given the name "Vegas" as I guess calling it "Lamb" wouldn't have the same buzz. Hopefully folks will figure out that it isn't a reboot of Vega$ (Although that would be a good one to reboot ala Hawaii Five-0.). Here's...

There has to be a city ordinance preventing Food Trucks from being on the strip right? It seems to me they would be insanely popular. Even if they were just right off the strip properties I would definitely frequent a Taco Truck for a quick Breakfast/Lunch while on the go....
