Marco Di Giulio, Ph.D., Diane and Guilford Glazer Teaching Fellow in modern Hebrew at the University of Tennessee, has been chosen to participate in the 2010 Schusterman Center for Israel Studies Summer Institute at Brandeis University from June 15-July 8, 2010. Di Giulio, who received his Ph.D. in linguistics from the University of Florence, Italy, came to UT in July 2009 to teach modern Hebrew in the Fern and Manfred Steinfeld Program in Judaic Studies in the Department of Religious Studies.

Hanawalt Award from the International Union of Crystallography with S. J. L. Billinge for important contributions to the field of x-ray powder diffraction.
