Krystal’s Meth

“Typical…the model is late for the shoot…this better be worth it”, I thought. As soon as Krystal rolled up in her blue Subaru WRX, I knew this was not going to be your average shoot for Urge To Drive. All was forgiven. After shooting a bunch of still photos, I could tell that Krystal was really dying to get behind the wheel. She fired up the lusty V8 and stabbed the throttle a few times. It’s always interesting to see people’s reactions the first time they rev a Ferrari and Krystal was just about in heaven as near as I could tell. You couldn’t wipe the ear to ear grin off of her face. Krystal would later tell me that she was worried about hurting the car…impossible, this car loves to be revved.

Once the cameras were mounted around the car, I let Krystal drive the car with me as a passenger. Things started off pretty smooth in the parking lot but as soon as we hit open road, she stood on the gas. Ok, remember that part about ‘let it warm up a little bit’? Oh well, you only live once, right? Before long she had it at 5,500 rpm in 4th gear and a smile on her face from here to Chicago.

After she returned from her solo drive, you could tell the adrenaline was rushing through her veins – she was a little shaky and downright giddy. When it was all over, Krystal did not want to get out of the car. I think she was completely and utterly in love with the Ferrari F355. That’s why this post is entitled “Krystal’s Meth” … one hit and she was hooked !!
