This is Cider, a 2-year-old male Boxer from Hong Kong. I adopted Cider from Hong Kong Dog Rescue (HKDR) about a year ago. He had no social skills, generally quite clueless, had boundless amounts of energy, and would play with anything that moves. He now has down time, especially when I offer to rub his tummy, which is when this photo was taken, and has learnt an acceptable amount of doggie social skills, but is still quite clueless. This is Dante, a 1-year-old male Pug from Greenwich, CT. Dante is a bit of a trickster.  He will be an angel if you have a treat and a little terror as soon as you turn your back.  This pic was taken when I was at work and I heard strange grunting noises behind me.  I turned around and he froze just like that.  He even stayed that way long enough from me to get my camera out of my purse and take a pic.  Still not sure what he was doing but I am sure he DID NOT want me knowing about it. This is Dusty, a 10-year-old male Weimaraner from Valrico, FL. Dusty is like a big teddy bear. He always has to try ad lay on you or against you no matter what you are doing.  If you don’t pet him enough he will paw at you for more with his huge 13eee paws. He likes to hunt and has caught all the squirrels in my back yard.  Now he’s catching the lizards.  Dusty wants to be a dog model so here is his first dog modeling picture. Photo sent by Bob.

This is Bernie, a 5 year old male Border Terrier from Durham UK. This is our beautiful Bernie the Border. One of the best dogs ever gifted to mankind. He has helped me even when I had nothing, not even a place to live! This is Hooch, a 3-year-old Cane Corso from New Jersey. Hooch loves long walks (with multiple stops to mark his territory), barks at random things (like the carpet), chasing every squirrels/rabbits he sees (failed at every attempted), and most of all, he loves his local dog park and play with other dogs in the lake all day long! This is Crimson N'Blue Wyman, a 4-year-old female English Mastiff from Larned, KS. Crimson was a very shy girl when I got her a year ago from a rescue group.  She has blossomed into a funny lil character and she makes me laugh at least once a day.  She has to be next to me all the time.  She cuddles at night in my bed and when I'm on the computer (like right now), she has her head on my feet!  She is in a family now that has 3 other dogs (Tiny is another Mastiff, Patches is a Bernese Mountain Dog and Whoopi is a Beagle/Chow mix).  She would rather be in my car with a Sonic ice cream cone in her face than anything else on the planet!  When we go to Sonic with Tiny, we are very well known and she gets a ton of attention-she's my SUPERSTAR!
