A major Telecoms Vendor has an urgent requirement for a Senior Documentation Engineer to work within Technical Service and Delivery department. This Documentation role provides an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated, German speaking document expert to work on a major operator based delivery Project.

You will be expected to be the main point of contact for te client and be accountable to the documentation aspect of the project. Work will be based in the Bonn office.

The role and responsibilities

To anticipate, identify and analyse the customer’s information needs from.
To develop the delivery project documentation in German

Experience:

Minimum BSEE/BSCS and 4 to 8 yrs of Applicable Experience. MSEE/MSCS preferred. Applicable experience may be substituted for degree requirements.
Demonstrated research and problem solving skills via prior work experience. Experience with wireless infrastructure provider and/or operator is desired.
Must certify at a minimum as Ericsson Services Engineer Experienced with 6 months of starting position.

Responsibilities :

Manage RAN Operations group supporting department cost center financial targets, maintaining group and individual utilization/billability targets, and overseeing project execution and account interface responsibilities assigned to the group.

Qualifications:

Key Responsibilities:

Realization of network planning and optimization projects for commercial GSM/WCDMA/LTE networks.
Improvement of radio network performance by appropriate approach.
Network performance statistic data analysis, drive test data analysis, signal tracing data analysis and troubleshooting to improve network performance.
RF parameters analysis, changing proposal and implementation operation to improve the radio network performance.
Technical communication and clarification (e.g. RF parameter workshop) with customers and subcontractors.
Technical support to pre-sales project on RNP&O issues and communication with customers.

Qualifications:

Experience in RF planning and optimization.
Experience in GSM/WCDMA/LTE technology and ability to optimize networks to improve the performance by the experience of RF algorithm & parameters.
Knowledge of Nortel BSS, Nokia UTRAN and Client BSS products is desirable.
Familiarity with drive tests and post processing tools for optimization (e.g. TEMS, NEMO, ACTIX and Rhode & Schwarz).
Team spirit and good intercultural/interpersonal communication skills.
Fluent in English.
