At 5:00 am I was walking my dog with my gf when we noticed a small airplane moving slowly from east to west. When it got over our house moving west, we suddenly caught a large grey object moving N to S just missing the small plane we were watching. At first we thought that's a bird because sometimes you can see birds in the dark if they are low enough to the ground and have a large wingspan. Within a fraction of a second we realized this was no bird but rather a large boomerang shaped flying wedge gliding smoothly and silently across the dark pre-sunrise sky.It was dimly lit with 3 or 4 lights on the bottom of the craft on each of the leading edges. They were symmetrical i.e. 7 or 8 lights. We had been out for about 15 minutes so our eyes were night adjusted. This craft was dark grey,but slightly lighter than the sky. Still, we wouldn't have seen it if we hadn't been looking up at the exact moment it passed over the flight path of the small plane we had been watching. I'm an ex-usaf weather observer and I'm very well trained in cloud heights. I'm estimating the altitude at 8,000 ft and the size as twice that of a 747 and completely silent. This object was menacing as it clearly was operating stealthily over a major metropolitan area (albuquerque) in busy early Tuesday skies. Their were several other planes in the sky at the time so it was operating in traffic yet I doubt that the small aircraft operator even saw it. Neither of us had ever seen a ufo but we have now. There's a chance that we saw a top secret craft and an equal chance we saw an extraterrestrial craft. I'm leaning towards extraterrestrial because of the operating conditions at the time. It's doubtful that USAf would operate stealthily in traffic over abq not to mention the size and silence of the ship.It also traversed the sky from North to South in less than 10 seconds and we lost it quickly due to its color and dim lighting.

At abut 11:15 my mom called me from her house about 8 miles north east of me in Sahuarita, AZ telling me about something that had suddenly appeared in the sky. I went out side to look and to my south east about 4 inches in the sky below the ORION constellation's "belt" I saw a very bright flashing light, initially it appeared to sparkle but once I got my camera out and zoomed in as far as I could, I was able to see that it had a shape to it, it appeared to be somewhat round but the lights were along a single line and I had the faint impression of a boomerang. I tried to take video but the camera i have doesn't zoom in nearly far enough to see anything other than a sparkling light in the sky. I took a few pictures and a video and watched it for about 45 minutes and it did not appear to move, nor did it move with the sky. I used Orion's belt and a light pole directly below the flashing light, as a reference as to it's possible movement, but it stayed exactly where it was for nearly 45 minutes, then it made a sudden move about 6 inches to the left and was stationary, then once again it moved very quickly in an upward directionabout 3-4 inches then again stayed stationary, and as of right now it has not moved (12:47am) again. I initally thought it was a plane, but it didn't move. Then I thought it could be a satellite, but again it wasnt moving, then I thought it was just some kind of air craft from the base, but again the long term lack of movement and then the sudden movement from one place to another and the appearance of the shape, and the colors of the lights, a bright red, blue and green. I called the Kitt Peak Observatory and they could not give me an answer as to what it could be, i told them where it was in the sky and they said that that was "blank space" no stars, no satellites not the ISS, nothing they could suggest that it could be. The entire time i was viewing the lights i was simply curious, it did not fit into the regular stars in the sky and i simply wanted to know what in the world it could be. I did take some photos, but they are not the best, I use a kodak easy share camera with 3x zoom so it's not meant for taking such long distance and detailed images.

Moved so fast, too fast to be a bird or even a plane. Moved too quickly for this world as I was looking up towards the East at Orion while I had just stepped out for bedtime cigarette. In the late '90's I saw an accumulation of UFOs nearby but they were going East to West, with multitudes of yellow orbs hovering motionless and silent while the big ship which was boomerang shaped and with red lighting (not lights individually as in planes) raced overhead. I witnessed this with others in the area, but none of us reported. Didn't know about you! In other words, I've seen first hand accounts of UFO's. So tonight what I saw I can definitely say was not of this world. No way. No animal or bird could have done what I saw. No cloud. This being was enormously fast. If I had to guess, I'd say it was about 200 feet up. I used to fly in my youth so I do have some keen estimation faculties. It was cloudy or cloaked but was definitely there! And of course, unrealistically fast. No bird could have flown the distance I witnessed in the 8 seconds I witnessed the event over Orion. It could have been supernatural if not a UFO, but it was surely not of the world we know here on Earth. Sorry, no time for photo. It was truly remarkable!!!

Every Tuesday I travel to Cornelius to play cards. On February 10, 2009, I had an incredible sighting at a range closer than anything I can find in many UFO chronicles across the web. At about 6:15-6:20 on February 10, 2009, I saw a large circular object floating above Highway 16 on the west side of Charlotte, NC. I was driving toward Huntersville when I saw the grayish object floating right above the trees. It was kind of shaped like a flat disk or acorn, and was floating above the trees on the right of the highway. The object appeared to be between 50 to 100 feet in diameter and no more than 10 or 20 feet tall. I first noticed the object about 200 yards ahead of me, and I could not see the entire circumference, yet it was a circular object suspended in mid-air. As it was I became immensely curious as to what was keeping it suspended. When I approached the object I realized that it was hovering without suspension partially over the highway and the trees on the right side of the road. From a distance it seemed to be shrouded in shadows at the very end of dusk when the sun is on the horizon. As I approached I could see in clear detail four lights all on opposite sides in a sort of perfect X-formation on the bottom of the object along with hollow hole in the center of the bottom of the saucer. The skin of the object seemed to be made of a grayish metal with clear, straight seams in a seemingly symmetrical pattern. Across the bottom of the object there seemed to be markings that looked almost hieroglyphic in nature. In the center of the object there was an empty black hole like there was a middle cylinder removed from the structure. The method of flight of the object seemed to be something completely out of this world, yet since I was on the ground and could not clearly see the top of the object, I could not tell if it had any sort of propeller keeping it adrift in mid-air, yet from every angle that I had a visual I did not see anything that would explain its method of flight. The skin almost reminded me of a smooth pewter with a pattern that was grid-like with the hieroglyphic symbols in each cell. From the distance I was it seemed to be texture on the outer surface but I could faintly make out markings in the pattern, but I had no idea what they meant. This simple fact - that the object was simply floating a few feet above the trees on the right of the road interested me most, When I realized that the object was beyond the human capacity of technological development, I remember feeling a sudden fear that I should not be witnessing what I was seeing. When I passed under the object for a brief moment, I remember passing almost directly under one of the light fixtures which I remember seeing with clear detail. It seemed to emit an intense cone of light similar to those that illuminate night construction on highways, if not brighter. The light seemed to be held onto the object on two sides by small V-like metal structures, and the light itself could not have been larger than one of our manufactured 100 watt generic bulbs, yet it burned with great intensity. The center hole of the object was most peculiar because it seemed to ascend into the object into a total blackness which my eyes couldn�t penetrate. The hole, from what I could tell, probably took up about 10-20% of the base surface area and was in the exact center of the object. When I passed under the object I remember nothing but fear and curiosity in the object. I must have been going close to 100 mph when I was passing under it to get out of its way, and the only thought of stopping for a picture was thwarted with my fears of abduction. I still to this day pass by the very curve on Highway 16, and remember the sighting every time I drive that route.

I originally posted this in the space.com forums under the unexplained I came to the conclusion that there was a very good chance I would never see one. My conclusion was wrong. Last night ( Friday September 18th) I saw something that I had never seen before. I live in the Canadian Rockies in the province of Alberta. My house is situated on the end of town, less then a Kilometre West is complete wilderness. My room faces south looking onto the backyard, behind the backyard lies a green space. The green space which is several kilometres long and 400 metres wide borders more houses on the other side. There is not a lot of light pollution where I live so stars and planets are easily distinguishable. At around 11:30 Pm I was lying in bed and I felt a little bit uncomfortable so I decided to change the position of my pillow. My bed faces North and is pressed against the southern wall so if I turn my head south I can see out my window and see the sky clearly.As I was doing this I was sitting upright, I moved my pillow and began to lay back when something out of the corner of my eye caught my attention. I quickly turned my head south and saw a bright star, all seemed normal and I continued to look at the sky. All of a sudden a bright light appeared west and quite close to this star, it continued to move west rather slowly. I continued to watch this object for another 10 seconds before it stopped and disappeared. It reappeared at a much lower altitude and slightly further to the west and after 10 more seconds it disappeared. Once again reappearing but at a much higher altitude and further west. This pattern continued for 30 more seconds until I could not see it anymore through the thicket of trees off in the distance. I have no idea what I saw last night. I am certain it wasn't my mind playing tricks on me. The UFO could not have been a plane or satellite because these could not possibly behave the same way. There is a possibility that it was a weather phenomenon unknown to me. The weather conditions were clear skies with low humidity and around 14 degrees celsius.

i was fishing on the black river near the 1st waterfall up from lake superior,U.P. mich., around 200 yards from falls, very loud water sounds, it was 11 or 12 pm, i looked up at all the stars i could see, it is a cut gorge river, so there is only so much sky to see,looking around the stars, i fixed on three stars in an elonggatted triangle,perfect in shape,looked like any other stars, but as soon as i fixed my eyes on them they started to move together in a west northwest direction towards tree line, i freeked and started screaming,hey, hey, goddamit, no that does not do that, pointing to them, and by now thinking that that or they, was an it, a ufo. i was tring to get my friends attention, to no avail.the next thought in my head, as the ufo was going out of my site in the tree line, was that the ufo was watching me until i saw it. it all took of 1 second to start moving once i saw it. total time as it slowly move to the tree line and out of my site was 15 seconds at most. and my dumbass friends did'nt belive me, that pissed me off. this was my second siting in my life.

Six to eight bright, flat objects hovering and disappearing at once

Driving to Longmont from Boulder on the Diagonal Hwy. just after 6 p.m. tonight, I noticed to the west of Longmont a half-dozen or so extremely bright, flat objects stacked in a tight formation, one just above and the side of the next. The proximity of these objects to each other was alarming to see. None of them appeared to be moving; several were tilted at 20-30 degrees from the rest. They were just hanging there in a tight group, one above the other. About two minutes after I first noticed them, the lights all disappeared in the very same instant. They simply went out all at once, as if someone had thrown a switch. I've never seen anything like that. Didn't see FAA or other blinking lights on any of them, nor did any appear to ever turn, bank, dim, or move away - they remained in the same arrangement and distances from one another for the length of my sighting. Very strange, and more than a little alarming in that moment to see that kind of air traffic in such close formation in darkness. I'm sure many other must have witnessed this event, as it was during rush hour on a busy stretch of state highway.

I was driving home from the grocery store with my son after 7:00. We had turned into our subdivision and topped a hill when I noticed a red stationary object in the sky. I thought it was a reflection on the windshield at first but then it blinked off. I pulled the car over and looked up and I saw it blink on again not far from where I had first seen it. It was stationary once again and lasted for about 30 seconds then blinked out. I rushed home, pulled into the driveway, jumped out of the car and waited for a few minutes and then I saw it again quite a bit farther. This was the last time I saw it blink on, hover and blink off and it was gone. It was very exciting for me and my son. So glad to see that I was not the only one in my area who saw it!!

This at least proves that the US has circular recon vehicles which are some of the objects that are mistaken for extraterrestial vehicles. I've talked to several people that have seen the video from the gun camera of the plane that dropped the bombs on the farmhouse that killed Zarkawi but nobody sees the circular device that seems to be either aiming the bombs or controlling its trajectory.It appears that it has the ability to confirm if there is movement after the first attack because it comes into an area that is free of dust from the first bomb and moves back to allow for another attack. After the second attack the vehicle moves off at a fast rate of speed. Please look at the attack on youtube and reply as to what you think that this device is. It's obviously quiet because it seems to be very low and near to the farmhouse. I can understand why the Government would want to keep this a secret but I don't understand why other people haven't seen it in the video. The object comes into frame above and to the top of the farmhouse and makes a half circle to the opposite side of the farmhouse. After the first weapon hits the house, the object moves into a frontal position to obviously view the destruction and then the final bomb is released while the object takes the same position below the farmhouse. The object then moves back to it's first vantage point to see the destruction again and then speeds off.

Seen while taking photo's of hot air balloons

There were seven hot air ballons in the sky above my house My aim was to take a photograph of them all in one shot. I noticed a small group of white clouds that seemed to be following the balloons. They were out of place as the sky was clear blue & they were the only clouds in the sky. I then saw the sun hit an object in the sky, the sun reflected off the object, created a dazzeling star affect. My sister also saw this. As this happened & we both said WOW! what was that. We lodgically said maybe the sun had shone on a plane as it had banked while changing it's course. I watched the balloon's untill they all decended one by one in the same area. I thought I saw several shiney objects during this time but could not be sure as they were brief glimpses. As I watched the last balloon decend I then saw the massive dark disc very clearly move across the horizion from right to left. I then lost sight of the object. The objects seemed to be following/observing the hot air balloon's. These objects can be seen in most of the photograph's I had taken that day of the hot air balloon's. I was at home - at one point I spoke to my sister on the phone - she was travelling in a car on the m25 towards london, I asked her if she could see the balloon's she could see the same ballon that I was observing as we spoke, she described the balloon to me it was the only multi-coloured balloon in the sky as the others were red. we both saw the object reflecting the sun creating a massive bright star in the sky.

Arrived home from work, around 6:00 p.m. Got out of my car and looked up over across the street. Five disc-shaped objects up maybe several hundred feet hovering in the sky. One shot a firework-like display towards the ground. As I can see more precisely with my glasses on (although certainly well enough to see what I did without them!), I turned around to grab them out of my car (took maybe 4 seconds). When I looked back up, they were all gone. I was stunned, wondering what they were. My thoughts were along the line of "What the ??!!@@@ were those?!"; although, I was also thinking that they looked exactly like 5 ufo's hovering. Decided to go for a walk down the street. Saw what looked like one more again towards the west (towards the mountains...I live on the front range with the mountains to the west)...It was a disc-looking shape, all bright (It is totallly dark here by 6:00 now, since the time change), moving very slowly, and then disappeared. I couldn't really tell if it just disappeared or went behind a house. Continued walking for about 10 minutes, and then went back home and took a drive towards the west where there aren't many houses/obstacles for night-sky viewing; but, didn't see anything else. Very intiguing, mysterious incident. I wish there had been a neighbor outside.

I caught something out my window on Sunday night when Hurricane Ida was passing by, it was very windy with high wind gusts.. I saw a light go by my window and I got up to see what it was, I saw this craft stationary behind a tree in my yard, and I saw a small plane fly under it and it never moved. I ran to get my night vision set up, tv on and camcorder to record it.. it was behind the tree but if you keep watching the wind will start to blow the tree up and you can see it clearly, also its VERY slowly moving away and down and near end of first vid its under the branch and you can see it better, but its farther and not as clear.. I did 4 videos of this. It was two lights, like headlights of a plane, yet it was moving away, I should not see lights if it was moving away as the lights would be in front of it. The next say I emailed the Chief at sheriff's office and asked if any police helicopters were out at this time. He responded telling me they did not fly all day sunday and to call the FAA. I did that next, I talked to two guys at same time and they told me nothing was in my area and certainty nothing stationary in this wind. They then asked for my web address to see the object. I did not leave my email or phone number. anyway. here are the four videos I took... first one I ended to try to move my cam higher to see if I can see it better, it moved away from tree and I did, at the end of second one.. I dropped my cam :( 3rd.. it moved behind house and I raised my cam higher on 4th vid.. again it went behind the house and that was end of it... Let me know what you think. . Coming Home From Work at 7.15 am

Hi iam Chester Golat and on the Morning of june 21 1978 me and 3 other people that i ride with to work as we car pool from conrath wis USA and from Shedon wis USA to work in Hawkins wis USA about 30 miles East from Conrath on hiway 8. Barb was driving that day and we all just got off from work and we clock out at about 7.01 and was all in barbs car by 7.05 me Chet and 2 other guys and Barb was the driver that week. we went down hiway 8 west heading home at about 7.13 am we seen something up in the sky to our Left or south of us as it soom across the sky and then just stop and then another one came sooming across the sky from our our Left and then stop about 50 feet from the 1st one. Then the 1st one moved down and the 2nd one moved over where the 1st one was as a 3rd one came in to where the 2nd one was. NOW a 4th one came in and all 4 were Now i a LIKE a Square Box and a 5th one just came above them and just sat there as the other 4 UFO began to go in Circles and follow each other arounr in the Square as the 5th UFO just sat up above them. We pulled the car over to the side of the road and stop and i Chet and one other guy got out of the car and sat on the hood of the car and just watch them as other cars went on by us And some other cars did stop to. Then just as thay came thay left one of them in the Square Circles just left out of the Circles to the top left of it as you could see it move out of the Circles to the top left in a line left and up and out of the Circles and then was just going and a fast as that one left so did the next one and so did the next one and so did the next one all inthe same way and then the 5th one just shot of in the same way. Wow we could not Belive it what just saw for about 27 minutes. we got back in the car and talk about it some and me chet and the other guy got chewed out some for geting out of the car to watch it. But it was ok with us as we got to watch a great show. Barb did tell us about another time when she had seen a UFO and so did Chet back in 1974 in Conrath. as we were all heading home. I Chet was in the Natl. Grd for 4 years now and i Raced RUPP Snowmobiles and Tractor pulled a ALLIS-CHALMERS D-17 and a WD-45 And Raced a CHEVROLET Stock Car and work at Golat IMPL in Conrath wis witch was a ALLIS-CHALMERS & NEW-IDEA & WOLLIN Silo Delear and work out at NORCO windows in Hawkins.

in 1973,july or aug. in niles il.,three of my friends and i were star watching laying on the ground, face up looking at the sky. in 1 second something streeked from west horison to east horison and left a green trail that stayed illuminated for 2 to 3 seconds in its flight path, no noise at all. unknown mach speed. it went that fast. did not see any craft because of the speed it traveled. it had to be in earth atmospere, 10,000 to 100,000 feet high i figure. it was not in space. i have never seen anything that fast since in my life. all 4 of us saw it, all 4 said what was it, got very freeked and had no idea of what we had just seen. we did figure we had seen a ufo.

I was recently talking with a friend of mine about a Very strange event I had witnessed earlier this year and he suggested I report this to Mufon. so here I go. Late February or Early March of this year(2009) (Sorry I do not have exact date and time I know I should have written it down!) in the city of Beaverton Oregon At exactly 4:55am I was awakend by a loud explosion, this explosion was not like a gunshot which i did hear occasionally in the area, this was more like a sound a large power transformer gives off when it blows! It was so powerful it shook my entire apartment and rattled the windows. I immediately jumped up out of bed frightened and looked out my bedroom window. My bedroom window faced our apartment complexes small parking lot and just past the parking lot is a fence followed by houses on the next block over. Through my window I looked out and across the parking lot and over an adjacent house I noticed two strange slowly pulsating stationary lights. One light a was dark red and one a dark blue. These lights were spaced maybe 20-25 feet apart, one of them appeared to be right above the roof of this house and the other other appeared to be slightly lower just at the fence line level between 2 houses. At almost the moment I fixed my eyes on these 2 strange lights I heard a police megaphone kick on and the voice of an officer specifically warning "Do not leave your residence, this is the police stay inside your home" At this point I became curious, alarmed about what was going on the next block over so I quickly threw on some clothes on, stepped outside and tried to get a better look at exactly what I was seeing some 100 feet away above this house. I watched these lights above this house, staring at them...I have never seen anything quite like this before. I'm a cigarette smoker and spent alot of time on my porch looking in this direction. This was something bizarre! I cautiously decided to try to get closer look so I walked about half way across the parking lot with my eyes fixed on the 2 objects when I noticed the red colored light had dissapeared, just vanished! About 3 seconds later I could hear the police saying something but I could not make it out, their voices raised...and then immediately following that they began focusing spotlights at the top of a tall tree sitting next to this house. They were scanning the top of this tree with the spotlights for about 15 seconds. Apparently looking for something, the object that vanished..or maybe from their vantage point they spotted something else that I did not see from my line of sight. At this point I got scared and decided for my own personal safety that I should not continue any farther across the parking lot and turned around. I then decided to walk to the enterance of the apartment complex and look down the street in the direction of the next block over and I noticed an unmarked police car blocking both lanes of the next road over, it had its headlights off, I could see it was an unmarked because the flashers were on and illuminating the hood and roof of the car and it was not marked like a normal Beaverton police cruiser. I have told this story to a few people, and most have written the red and blue lights I saw off as comming from police cruisers on the next street, but I know these strange lights or orbs or whatever that they were, were definatly not comming from the cruisrs and they were not reflections. They were hovering objects maybe the size of basketballs and once they disapeared the police were searching the trees for them. Later that same day I was perplexed by what it was I had witnessed, I could not get it out of my mind. It was eating at me because of how unusual it was so I contacted the Washington County Sheriffs department from my work phone during my lunch break. I got a gal on the phone who immediately put me on hold after a brief rundown of my question..I was put on hold for more then 15 mins and eventually I was transfered to what I was told was a 'Corporal' who informed me that the Sheriffs department had no record of officers on SW Hazel St that morning. The next day after work I walked over to the next street over and knocked on the door of 4 houses and asked the residents what it was that they had seen, unfortunately 3 out of the 4 were hispanic and spoke little to no english and the one who did talk did not know what it was himself. I know it sounds crazy, but this is really what I saw that morning, im sure someone in the neighborhood or complex heard and seen this besides me.

We were driving west on I-66 and noticed three bright spherical objects in the sky to the southwest. One appeared larger and brighter than the other and the other two appeared about the same size. All of them appeared to be falling toward the Earth, which is what caught our attention -- their trails weren't horizontal like an airplane's. Gradually, the larger one's trail grew smaller as it fell toward the horizon and the other two appeared to merge together as they fell. At first we thought it was space debris but it when the objects merged together, we changed our minds. Throughout the event, we felt no fear or anxiety -- just excitement and curiousity -- and we flipped to a 24 hours news station but there wasn't anything about what we'd seen. After about 7 minutes, the objects reached the treeline and we could no longer see them.

I was on my way down my driveway to take one of my daughters friends home. Upon coming to the end of the driveway looking across an open field I noticed a bright white tube shaped light that seem to appear above the tree line.I was yelling for my kids to look at the object but they were busy talking. As I watched it shoot across the skyline at an immense speed from East to West. At first I thought it was a meteor but it was too low in the sky. As it traveled at a very high rate of speed it suddenly made 40-45 degree angle upwards and disappeared mid sky. The feeling I had afterward was sheer excitement. I have lived near the Aberdeen Proving Grounds for 42 yrs of my life and have seen my share of strange objects in the sky.Although the proving grounds does not test airplanes it does test weapons.So I am very sure that what I saw was not of military origin.

I was out with my friends at a fire when we saw a teardrop that was blue go by in the sky. We all saw it and we had no idea what is was.
