Bueno, después de como hace 1 mes de no postear me despido de este blogger.

Producto del buen google, aunque a 6 días de cumplir 10 años de experiencia como vemos en este post: (en inglés) y con novedades recientes como el soporte para PSHB ? da tristeza ver que ni siquiera empieza a ser una plataforma completa y a la vez, fácil de usar para los bloggers. En el post donde anuncian su décimo cumpleaños prometen agregar más servicios aunque no dicen cuáles. (si piensas que no es importante, no sigas leyendo el post) Para variar Blogger, o Blogspot (=p), que es una empresa del grupo Google (=D) no se acerca a la innovación que presenta la mayoría de los productos google [lista] y en muchas ocasiones me he topado con que otras plataformas como Wordpress ofrecen mejor integración con dichos productos. Y Aquí una lista de las características más pedidas:

(1) Versión para iPhone. Tumblr tiene una en Tumblrphone.com spor qué Blogspot.com no?

(2) Adsense for Custom Search en la plantilla de blogspot. Nota: esto se puede hacer en Wordpress y No en blogspot.

(3) Contador de visitas en cada post.

(4) Posts relacionados.

(5) Páginas estáticas.

(6) Forma de Contacto.

Si me preguntas, yo estoy demasiado a gusto con friendfeed.com y con soup.io ... Posterous.com también funciona ...ahem... pero en menor medida. Bai Bai Bolgger.

This was really powerful - that opening speech... made my skin crawl. I hope when I'm older, when my kids are the age I am now, they won't have to listen to disturbing nonsense like this. It's such a sad phobia.

So, now that FriendFeed has changed a lot (old news, I know) and though I first despised the whole new look (come on, hidden service icons!?) now I find myself liking the new features and completely overlooking the tasteless color scheme. (yea, I did think of getting a Userscript to mend the whole thing but after using firefox for hours I'm falling into a Windows memory crunch all the time -damn you firefox!- so I switched to a dull no-addon firefox =P )
Try Friendfeed and add me to your contacts, it's richer and more enjoyable than the weeny blue bird chat box for sure though I wouldn't say (yet) it will replace it. ;)

Last.fm Killed internet radio Today...

YEs. today was doomsday for us lastfm devotees in Mexico and many many many countries. On April the 22nd the LastFM Blog announced that they were updating their radio to no longer work without a fee. ($3USD a month! are you nuts!?) for countries other than the US, UK & Germany.

I want to let you know that I'll be on the look for some alternatives. Ok, I know there are none. Last was simply perfect how it was (i specially like the way it integrates with firefox through fire.fm). But thier price is way higher than say, Spotify ($19 vs $36 a year) of course neither service is available in MX... unless, of course -are you thinking what I'm thinking?.. Use a free proxy. It's simple, isn't it? IDK guess I'll have to try it.
I'll be updating.

Y nada que hay actividad en este blogger. :L

La mera verdad es que mi compu ha estado fallando un poco. Para empezar Pidgin se ha estado crashing (se puede esperar de un software open source expandible con plugins de terceros). Así que he estado lidiando con reconocer qué plugin es el maloso y luego enviar un bug report y así. ..no es algo muy divertido, pero a veces pienso que así se construye un mejor software, con la ayuda de los usuarios.

In other news, beginning April I heard about the Pirate Bay trial a.k.a. the spectrial. I was so excited about it. I confess I’ve been to the site once or twice though most of the movies in my hd I’ve searched for directly from Vuze’s torrent search. Now that my computer’s again up and running, I thought I’d post a screenshot of my desktop. (beautified with google desktop and a wallpaper i found on noupe …the photo on the right is one of my facebook friends’ rotating on a slideshow).

I started using Cooliris I while ago (like a month+-) and now I can't be without it! Cooliris is an extension for Firefox (and now IE7!) that presents photos in a website slick and beautifully. I use it mostly when browsing Flickr: it makes it so MUCH MORE comfortable than standard browsing through photos in F. you know, clicking everywhere to see a good shot in fullscreen. So if you have time go download it (I installed it both in Explorer and Firefox), I recommend it big.
