Colleen <div xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"><p>I'm not one to make resolutions but with my 30th birthday rapidly approaching, I thought it'd be nice to set some goals that will help propel me into responsible adulthood. I realize that I'm an adult now but I want to give myself more structure.</p> <p>There are some things that I need to do before March, including:</p> <ul> <li>Find a new apartment. I have an apartment locating service on that.</li> <li>Purge belongings, especially clothes and shoes. Find charity that needs them.</li> <li>Deep clean apartment.</li> <li>Pack it all up and move.</li> <li>Figure out what I want to do with <a href="http://www.prettypear.com">my blog</a>, set some goals and figure out a game plan.</li> </ul> <p>After March, I want to work on:</p> <ul> <li>Sticking to a daily waking, eating, sleeping schedule. I'm haphazard with all three right now and it's taking a toll on my health and well being. Plus, when I get a dog, I'll need to be on a schedule. Dogs like routine.</li> <li>Set a daily/weekly posting schedule for my blog.</li> <li>Set a daily/weekly cleaning and organizing schedule for my apartment. The first just caught my eye. The second I picked up because I'm about to turn 30 and I'm a big fan of turning to books to solve all of life's little problems. The third goes back to an interest I have in women in the Bible that I haven't taken the time to really read about, other than the novel <em>The Red Tent</em>.</p><p>I shouldn't even be buying more books until I read some of the ones I already have. Not to mention that it's just more to pack for the move next month.
