My Chic n Scratch June 2012 Thank You Card

My Chic n Scratch June Thank You Cards are made with the Betsy's Blossoms stamp set. It's on page 72 of the Brand New Stampin Up Catalog.

The New Catalog goes live around 1pm central time today!!

I'm using three of the new In-Colors for my cards this month.... they include:

Gumball Green
Primrose Petals
MIdnight Muse

The "Thank You" greeting is from the Curly Cute stamp set & I used the Note Cards on page 160.

After I stamped the images, I cut out the largest flower with the 2-3/8 Scallop Circle Punch and the smaller flower with the 1" Circle Punch. I popped both of them up with Stampin Dimensionals.

Keychains & it's the last day of the Idea Book & Catalog

Oh my Gosh!!! Thank you all so much for all the kind words about my Chiclettes Keychains!!! I'm with you .. I LOVE them!

So, this morning I called the company and ordered more and they will be available the week of June 25th. They should arrive around June 21st and I'll need to cut the fabric and repackage them.

As soon as I get a price figured out (keychain, fabric, shipping and packaging) I'll post the button for you to order.

Idea Book & Catalog ....

Don't forget today is the last day for the Idea Book & Catalog. There are tons of items retiring that I'm very sad to see go ... (like the Scallop Circle #2 die). Make sure you check it one last time before midnight tonight!! You can click on the Retired List on the left side of my blog.

New Catalog ... ordering from the new catalog will be delayed tomorrow. I'll post all the details on my blog in the morning.

Happy You Hostess Stamp Set

My card today was made with a brand new hostess set ... it's the Happy You hostess stamp set on page 204 of the New Stampin Up Catalog.

I used Baja Breeze and Certainly Celery Markers (notice how once Pear Pizzazz retired I went back to Celery ... I hope they bring back Pear Pizzazz!!).

I stamped the image with Black Stazon ink ... onto Whisper White card stock and then cut it out with the 1-3/8 Circle Punch. I popped it up on the Scallop Circle I cut out with the 1-3/4 Scallop Circle Punch.

The strip on the side measured 1 x 5 and then I scalloped one side with the Scallop Edge Border Punch.

This card was made with our Note cards on page 182 of the current catalog and on page 160 of the new catalog.

I'm thinking about making this my June thank you card .. what do you think?

Smaller version of the Postage Stamp Card

My card today is almost the same as yesterday's card ...only difference is ...it measures 4-1/4 x 4-1/4 (my most favorite size of card).

It's really the perfect card to use up all your paper scraps!! Especially the Designer Series Paper!

If you don't have the Friendly Phrases stamp set for the greeting ...you could also use the Petite Pairs stamp set.

The colors I used on this card are Baja Breeze, Certainly Celery and Wisteria Wonder.

Here's a few reminders ...the current Idea Book & Catalog retires on May 31st and the new Stampin Up Catalog begins on June 1st. I don't think it's been mentioned yet ..but on June 1st ..there may be some down time that you can not order. Stampin Up will be switching the systems from old catalog to new catalog. I'll keep you informed as soon as I find out.

Postage Stamp Card

My card today is the Postage Stamp Card and I got the idea right out of our Stampin Success magazine (I tweaked it a bunch!!)

I really look forward to getting our magazine each month and it's one of many perks of being a Stampin Up Demonstrator!

The base of the card is Whisper White and I used the Postage Stamp Punch for the squares, the circles are made with the 1" Circle Punch and the little flower is from the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack.

Betsy's Blossom Stamp Set

My card today is using one of the new sets out of the brand new Stampin Up Catalog.

It's the Betsy's Blossoms stamp set and it's also going to be my Stamp Set of the month for June.

The colors are Baja Breeze and Gumball Green ... yes.... Gumball Green is one of the new In-Colors.

I used a 3" Circle (3" Circle Die) and added it to a Scallop Circle (Scallop Circle #2 Die).

The "Thank You" is from the Perfectly Penned Stamp set.

I'll be wrapping up my cards for Stamp Kit of the Month this week and I'll be sharing with you a few more cards using the Betsy's Blossoms stamp set.
