Framelits Treat Holder

Shelli showed us how to make this darling treat holder with the Framelits last week at the Stampin Up Leadership meeting.

I love going to all the meetings and getting new ideas ... when I saw her demonstrate this project (a little differently ...she used the Apothecary Art stamp set) I couldn't wait to get home and make one!!

I used the Labels Collection Framelits with Peach Parfait Textured Card Stock to make the holder.

I stamped the flower from the Mixed Bunch stamp set with Pear Pizzazz ink and then cut it out with the Blossom Punch.... then added a Designer Printed Brad to the center.

The strip in the middle is two pieces that I cut out with the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch and layered on top a 3/4" piece of DSP. (I should have used Pear Pizzazz but I think I may have used Certainly Celery ...I love that it works either way.)

I've filmed a video and I'm working on the editing now .. hopefully I'll have it ready late this afternoon.

Stampin Up Leadership

I'm checking in this evening to say hello and share a couple pictures ....I'm having a great time at our Stampin Up Leadership conference and I thought you'd like to see a few things.

The first picture is our Leadership Bag ...I LOVE IT!! I'm thinking it has to be new fabric coming in a future Stampin' Up! Catalog ..and it has a matching stamp set that we received at the Managers Reception.

This picture is one of my favorite displays ... I love that little tree .....it would look really good in my office!!

This next picture is another display ...and I just love it!! One of my downline girls just gave birth to a baby boy ....Congrats Sarah!!!

Valentine Lollipop Holder

My project today is the Valentine Lollipop Holder and I made it using the P.S. I Love You stamp set.

I used Real Red, Melon Mambo and Rich Razzleberry along with the Designer Series Paper Stacks.

Valentine Nerds & How I organize my Framelits

I received enough requests to film a video on the Valentine Nerds ....and this time I used Melon Mambo instead of Real Red. Thanks Ladies!!

The mesasurements for this project needs a scoring tool that can score 16ths. The Paper Cutter works great for that. Here's the measurements (the one I posted earlier was wrong). Card Stock measures 7-1/2 x 3-3/4 & score at 1-18, 1-7/8, 4-5/16, 5-1/16.

I also wanted to share with you how to organize the Framelits (it's also in the video with the Valentine Nerds Box).

I use the Clear Mount Stamp Case and label it with my handy dandy PTouch. (I've been using a PTouch ...made by Brother since 1992.) You have two options for keeping them in the Stamp Case ...you can use the cardboard that came with it ...or you can use a Magnet sheet. Long term I think the Magnet sheet is going to be the best.

Busy Day!!

Just a quick note today ...the product for my Product Shares arrives tomorrow and I'm getting everything ready today..... so that I can begin cutting and sorting tomorrow. If you were on the first set of orders ...your shares should ship within the next five days. The 2nd round of orders were placed yesterday. They're filling up fast ...the approx time is still two weeks.

Stamp Set of the Month club orders are also arriving and I'm working on packaging those as well. If you decide to join Stamp Set of the Month club now ...the introductory price is no longer available.

Next week I'll be in San Antonio for the Stampin Up Leadership Conference ... but not to worry my assistant Julie has everything under control. She'll be mailing the Product Shares and Stamp Set of the Month Club packages. The only thing it should affect is it may take me a little longer to respond to my email.

Candy Conversations Nerds

My project today is the Candy Conversations Nerds. I used the Candy Conversations stamp from the A la Carte page in the Occasions Mini Catalog.

To make the cover for the Valentine Nerds I used Real Red card stock that measures 7-1/2 x 3-1/4 and scored it at 2-3/8, 3-3/16, 5-5/8, 6-3/8.

I added a piece of Real Red Designer Paper from the Brights Stacks and then I used the Hearts Collection Framelits to cut out three of the hearts. The smallest heart is made with the Candy Conversations stamp ... I stamped it in Real Red ink and then cut it out with the Small Heart punch.

I added all the hearts with a Stampin Dimensional.

How to cut and emboss with the Framelits

On Saturday I figured out how to cut and emboss with the Framelits and I'm pretty sure you're going to love them!!! I demonstrated it live on UStream ....and ....we also figured out how to emboss ....even if you don't own the Tab 2 Multi Purpose Platform.

I've got three cards to share with you ...the first one is .... I embossed the heart on the white card stock and added a heart from the P.S. I love you stamp set with a Stampin Dimensional. (It may be hard to see the embossed heart on the white card stock.)

The next picture is the same card ....but I used Real Red card stock in place of the Whisper White.

The last card is I used the Framelits to cut the heart out of the white card stock and then I added the heart from P.S. I love you stamp set to the inside ...with a Stampin Dimensional.

Martha Stewart Living Ingrid Bookcase

Good morning,

Yesterday I shared a picture of my new bookcase and how I organize clear mount stamps ... sorry I forgot to include where I got them.

It's the Martha Stewart Living Ingrid Bookcase and they have them at Home Decorators. It's the best store we have for furniture for paper crafting .... but ....I keep hoping for an IKEA in Overland Park, Kansas!!

So, after Christmas they had a sale and an additional sale in the store (not advertised in their catalog) ...... Once I saw that ...I knew I had to get some new shelves.

The only downside ..... you have to assemble it!!

I also purchased the Craft Space Organization System and when I get back from Leadership I'll share some more pictures.

Here's the latest picture of Miss Bella ... she's 17 weeks old and weighs 9.12. She's peeking out of the crate I bought her to take her back and forth to the vet. Yes ... it's time for a new one ..she's out grown it!!

Thanks for all the comments! I LOVED reading all the New Years Resolutions ..... and we have a lot in common :) I too want to be more organized (as well as lose weight).

So, I thought I would share with you my new shelf for my Stamps. Now that most of my stamps are clear I can fit them on one shelf (Backgrounds and Alphabets are on my old shelf).

It's the Martha Stewart Living Ingrid Bookcase and they have them at Home Decorators. It's the best store we have for furniture for paper crafting.

We just put this together last night so I'm not sure if I'll make any changes ..... but I'm excited to try something different.

I have a lot of people ask me How to organize stamps ... what I do is organize them just like the catalog. All my holidays have red dots, all my sentiments have orange dots and i keep them all together. (Those colored dots are very helpful!!).

I'll share more pictures when it's ready ...as you can see the shelf on the left is empty (but not for long).
