Stamp Set of the Month Club

Mouthwatering is the Stamp Set of the Month for February and this card is one they'll be receiving with their stamp set.

This is a Trifold card and I colored the images with markers and I used Soft Suede, Lucky Limeaid and Melon Mambo. On the inside it says "Happy Birthday".

I embossed the Soft Suede card stock with the Square Lattice Embossing Folder.

Here's another one that I CASED from Leadership. I'm not sure who created it but I loved it so much I had to copy it!!

Fresh Vintage Birthday Card

My card today was made with three of the items from the Sale-a-bration catalog. I used the Fresh Vintage Stamp set for the background. The "Happy Birthday" greeting is from the Elementary Elegance stamp set and the Butterfly is made with the Everyday Enchantment Designer Paper.

The base of this card is Naturals Ivory and the layers are Lucky Limeaid, Baja Breeze and Soft Suede.

I scalloped the edges of the Soft Suede card stock with the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch.

Elementary Elegance Card

My card today was made using the Elementary Elegance Stamp set and the Everyday Enchantment Designer Paper and both items can be found in the Sale-a-bration catalog.

The base of the card is Naturals Ivory and I layered it with Baja Breeze. The butterfly was made by using the Butterfly punch with the DSP and then I added Linen Thread and a Pearl.

This was my warm up card ....tomorrow I'll show you another version.

My Chic n Scratch Feb Thank You Card

Today I'm sharing with you My Chic n Scratch February Thank you card.

I used the Mixed Bunch stamp set out of the Occasions MIni Catalog ...with the Blossoms Punch. The colors are Lucky Limeaid and Island Indigo.

The "Just for you" greeting is from the Tea Shoppe stamp set also featured in the Occasions Mini.

This month I used the Note Cards that we sell in our Stampin Up Catalog on page 182. They measure 3-1/2 x 5 and you use a regular postage stamp to mail them.

Top Note Reese's Holder

My project today is the Top Note Reese's Holder and I made it with the Sweet Shop Designer Paper from the Occasions Mini Catalog.

I used the Top Note die to make it and I used one Whisper White Top Note and two cut out of the Sweet Shop DSP ... I'll try to explain ... if you just folded the top note in half ..the hearts would be upside down on one side.

Sweet Shop Bag

My project today is the Sweet Shop Bag and it's the same bag as the Christmas Bag I made back in December. Click here if you'd like to head over to my Chic n Scratch Live! website to see how it's made.

I used the Sweet Shop Designer Paper in the Occasions Mini Catalog along with the Got Treats Stamp Set.

I embossed the Pool Party card stock with the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder and added the Island Indigo Ruffled Ribbon to close it.

I colored the image with Stampin Write Markers and I used: Calypso Coral, Island Indigo, Lucky Limeaid, Wisteria Wonder and Pool Party (all the colors used on the Sweet Shop DSP).

Scallop Valentine Box

We learned how to make this Scallop Valentine Box at Leadership.... and the one they shared with us had some cute little cards ... so I made one to hold candy and one to hold cards.

The scallop box is made out of the Scallop Square Die and you score it at 3 scallops on two sides and score it at 2 scallops on the other side.

I used the P.S. I love you stamp set with Real Red and Early Espresso ink. And the punches I used include: 1" Circle, 1-3/8 Circle, Small Heart and the 1-3/4 Scallop Circle.

The little Valentine Cards measure 4-1/2 x 2-1/4, scored at 2-1/4 and on March 1st you'll be able to order the Simply Scored Diagonal Plate (#125586 $11.95) ... it allows you to score at a diagonal to create envelopes, boxes and more!! You're going to love it!!

Framelits Treat Holder

Shelli showed us how to make this darling treat holder with the Framelits last week at the Stampin Up Leadership meeting.

I love going to all the meetings and getting new ideas ... when I saw her demonstrate this project (a little differently ...she used the Apothecary Art stamp set) I couldn't wait to get home and make one!!

I used the Labels Collection Framelits with Peach Parfait Textured Card Stock to make the holder.

I stamped the flower from the Mixed Bunch stamp set with Pear Pizzazz ink and then cut it out with the Blossom Punch.... then added a Designer Printed Brad to the center.

The strip in the middle is two pieces that I cut out with the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch and layered on top a 3/4" piece of DSP. (I should have used Pear Pizzazz but I think I may have used Certainly Celery ...I love that it works either way.)

I've filmed a video and I'm working on the editing now .. hopefully I'll have it ready late this afternoon.

Stampin Up Leadership

I'm checking in this evening to say hello and share a couple pictures ....I'm having a great time at our Stampin Up Leadership conference and I thought you'd like to see a few things.

The first picture is our Leadership Bag ...I LOVE IT!! I'm thinking it has to be new fabric coming in a future Stampin' Up! Catalog ..and it has a matching stamp set that we received at the Managers Reception.

This picture is one of my favorite displays ... I love that little tree .....it would look really good in my office!!

This next picture is another display ...and I just love it!! One of my downline girls just gave birth to a baby boy ....Congrats Sarah!!!

Valentine Nerds & How I organize my Framelits

I received enough requests to film a video on the Valentine Nerds ....and this time I used Melon Mambo instead of Real Red. Thanks Ladies!!

The mesasurements for this project needs a scoring tool that can score 16ths. The Paper Cutter works great for that. Here's the measurements (the one I posted earlier was wrong). Card Stock measures 7-1/2 x 3-3/4 & score at 1-18, 1-7/8, 4-5/16, 5-1/16.

I also wanted to share with you how to organize the Framelits (it's also in the video with the Valentine Nerds Box).

I use the Clear Mount Stamp Case and label it with my handy dandy PTouch. (I've been using a PTouch ...made by Brother since 1992.) You have two options for keeping them in the Stamp Case ...you can use the cardboard that came with it ...or you can use a Magnet sheet. Long term I think the Magnet sheet is going to be the best.

Busy Day!!

Just a quick note today ...the product for my Product Shares arrives tomorrow and I'm getting everything ready today..... so that I can begin cutting and sorting tomorrow. If you were on the first set of orders ...your shares should ship within the next five days. The 2nd round of orders were placed yesterday. They're filling up fast ...the approx time is still two weeks.

Stamp Set of the Month club orders are also arriving and I'm working on packaging those as well. If you decide to join Stamp Set of the Month club now ...the introductory price is no longer available.

Next week I'll be in San Antonio for the Stampin Up Leadership Conference ... but not to worry my assistant Julie has everything under control.
