Maximizing Twitts Exposure

This post is dedicated to those people who have hundreds of followers and/or are following lot’s of people.

Imagine you submit a special Twitt at 5/6am. The chances for someone read that Twitt are very low. And if your followers are following hundreds of people, their timeline is changing every second.

To balance this we advise to submit your special Twitts at these hours (all of them are UTC, or GMT): 2am, 14-16h (2-4pm) and 21h (9pm). These are the Twitter’s rush hours, where it is registered more user activity.

If you’re selling something or looking for something, we recommend you those hours.

To ReTweet something on Twitter (of course), is to submit other user’s posts again.

Imagine someone on Twitter says: «Youtube Download by prasantha60: http://u.nu/8jz3 #job #php #freelance». If you liked that post (Twitt), you can submit it again (ReTweet) using your username. The retweeted post should be something like: «RT @hisname Youtube Download by prasantha60: http://u.nu/8jz3 #job #php #freelance»

This procedure will increase that Twitt exposure and if you have Followers that might be interested in that Twitt, ReTweeting will be great!

As you can see in that moving picture, it shows the location of the ReTweet button on this blog. If you like the content from here you can retweet any post and page with just 2 clicks: one on the retweet button, the second on Twitter page and the button should be “Update”.

You should start by promoting your Twitter account and get followers. Publish your Twitter username in some forums, blogs, etc… More followers means more views to your links and twitts.

Imagine you submit to Twitter: «Check out my new website http://hello.me.com». If you have 1,000 followers and 10% of them click the link, you’ll receive 100 clicks on that link and if you’re promoting something people want, you will probably starting to get profit.

One of the best techniques for winning money, is having and maintaining a blog. But it is not a Blogger blog. It must be something good and in most times, not free.

You should start by buying a good domain and hosting. Find a good and cheap hosting, maybe with a good ammount of bandwidth. You can start on Skimpyhost for as low as $10/year.

After seting up a Wordpress blog with a nice design, you can start monetizing it. Read the tips.

Tip #1: Register for Google AdSense or BidVertiser. Both websites allow you to publish ads into your website/blog and everytime someone clicks them, you’ll receive money. This is the most used feature but let’s explore some others.

Tip #2: Selling ads space. If you have a good (good means visited, with traffic) blog you can sell some space for ads. Imagine there is a company that wants to advertise they’re product on your blog. Talk to them asap and decide for how much the space is worth.

Tip #3: Join some affiliate programs and advertise the product on your blog. Don’t just advertise it. Make sure you do a decent review so people will be interested on it.

Tip #4: Get some Wordpress plugins that automatically submit your blog posts to your Twitter account. This will increase your website exposure and you’ll get more targeted traffic.

This is our first real content post.

As I usually do, I was surfing the web and I came up whit Twitter Cash. As almost everything on the internet, it is a product. But it is not a simple product. It’s a full guided tutorial with software and everything needed to start making money from your Twitter account.
