We’re heading down the pub for the 100th twofootedtackle podcast, as Chris and Gary are joined by guests from the last three years of podcasting. There’s no fixed topic, as guests can talk about whatever they want. Gary asks what’s on their minds and gets responses from Stewart Downing to Coventry’s ring road system.

You might want to turn your volume in your iPod down a little for this. The levels are a bit louder than planned.

Managers are on the mind of the pod this week as we talk Roy Hodgson arriving in the England hotseat and Pep Guardiola departing the Barcelona dug-out. It’s a welcome return for Spurs fan Theo Delaney, who joins Gary and Chris to discuss the effect the England job had on Harry Redknapp and Spurs’ loss of form, while the pod also look at Barcelona’s all-conquering team and asking just how long they can sit astride European football now that Pep’s popping off.

Plus, we get down and dirty with the play-offs as Chris gets all misty-eyed over the post-season, as they call it in Americana.

It’s podcast time again, and belatedly so on this occasion. Unfortunately real life took over the time in which the show is usually edited, meaning that it’s hitting your feeds a day later than previous episodes. For that, we apologise wholeheartedly but make amends with stellar debut appearances for two dedicated followers of Devonian football and the Football League.

Joining Chris and Gary this week were Torquay United supporter Ben Mayhew (you can find his bewilderingly brilliant work at Experimental 3-6-1) and Plymouth Argyle supporter Lloyd Langman, who you will know from the always wonderful The Two Unfortunates.

The pod looks at the recent spate of managerial sackings and asks if current bosses are given enough time in their jobs. We also discuss the financial meltdown at Rangers and heavy-handed stewarding at Bolton, as well as asking if fickleness is a trait we should be worried about in football fans. And we manage to squeeze in Chris’s indifferent thoughts on the England squad selection.
