This is the official video for the Clipse' "I'm Good" Remix featuring Rick Ross. This song keeps getting better with time and this remix if definitely on point. Rick Ross came correct and the brothers Clipse redid their verses with some serious hot shit.

Clipse is expected to drop a new mixtape in the next few weeks to get the streets ready for their new album Til the Casket Drops which drops on December 8th. There's also rumblings that they will be collaborating with Jadakiss on a new mixtape at some point in 2010. That should be RIDICULOUS!

"Psycho" is the new single/leaked track off of 50 Cent's much delayed album Before I Self Destruct which is currently slated to drop on November 17th. This is a pretty hot track but it's too much of the old 50/Eminem/Dre formula for me to get too excited about. There's nothing new or creative about it but at least it's some new music from one of my favorite Hip Hop trios. I'll take what I can get these days.

50 isn't bringing anything new to the table with his verses and I have to admit I was barely paying attention to his lyrics because I was just plain bored. Em woke me up a little bit though. He came with the old school quick hit flow just like he did on Drake's "Forever" which has to be one of his best verses in the past 5-7 years, hands down. I think Em is officially rejuvenated and back to his old ways which is what we've all been wanting for a long time. Let's hope it continues on the next album.

I think it's actually gaining spins in my 'New Ish' playlist rotation. This is definitely one of the best radio singles Snoop has released in a few years. He just keeps droppin' hits like it ain't no thang.

I'm not sure how I feel about this song as a whole but the beat is ridiculously sick. It seems like the song is backwards almost like the singing should be the hook and the rapping should be the focus on the main verses. It sounded way better when it was just Lil Wayne or Swizz Beatz rappin' but maybe that's just me.

I don't know if this song will really catch any radio or video play because of the negativity that's still floating around towards Chris Brown from the Rihanna incident but maybe people will forgive and forget and just listen to the song for what it is. I think it's a decent track that could have some legs if it gets enough spins.

Gucci Mane's new single 'Wasted' is one of my guilty pleasures that I've been rocking out to for the past few weeks. I've never been a huge fan of his but I gotta give credit when it's due and dude has been putting out some legit hits over the past year. I don't know what happened but he just took his game to the next level and I can't really even talk shit anymore.

This is just a hot ass track. I like the original a little better than the Remix but Twista absolutely rips his verse so it makes it worth it.

I just got hooked up with two new mixtapes from rapper/producer Nottz and Junior Entertainment. If you don't recognize the name Nottz right away that's OK because you definitely know his beats. He's been producing hits for some of the biggest names in Hip Hop over the past 10+ years. Here's a quick look at his bio:

Nottz has produced for some of the biggest names in hip hop including Busta Rhymes, Snoop Dogg, Kanye West, The Game, Notorious B.I.G., Scarface, J Dilla, and G-Unit. Some of his earliest production work was on the Rawkus Records compilation Lyricist Lounge, Volume One, in 1998. From there he landed three tracks on Busta Rhymes' Extinction level Event LP, after Rhymes stumbled across one of his beat tapes.

Nottz will be releasing his 1st solo album this coming year for 2010. The album will feature Nottz as an MC as well as producer. He is also working on Westcoast rapper Snoop Doggnew album and The Game on his new album The Red Album, after having 3 of his beats on The Game's last two albums Doctor's Advocate, and LAX.

Here's a hot new track from Drake called 'Forever' featuring a monster lineup of Lil Wayne, Kanye West and Eminem. Drake sounds decent but uses a little too much Autotune on the hook. Wayne's verse was decent but Kanye's sounded like it was phoned in a little bit. Eminem was by far the best on the track and absolutely destroyed it with that crazy quick flow. It's nice to here him getting back to what he's good at which is dope lyrics and unique rhyming patterns. I hope he has buried that awful accent bullshit for good.

This is a hot new track off Jay-Z's Blueprint 3 album called 'Off That' featuring Drake. This is definitely that big radio single/crossover hit that we've come to expect from every Jay-Z album. The beat is sick and Jay kills it with his rhymes and flow, as usual. He also took advantage of Drake's current popularity which never hurts the cause. I could see this being on the charts for a long time this fall. This shit is hot as hell!

Fabolous - Money Goes, Honey Stay (When The Money Goes Remix) feat. Jay-Z (HOT!)

This is the official video for Fabolous' hot new track Money Goes, Honey Stay (When The Money Goes Remix) featuring Jay-Z. It's a chill, laid back type of joint but could definitely make it's way to radio airplay. It's not as big of a hit as the summer smash "Throw It In The Bag" or "It's My Time" but it's a nice follow up for a third single which rarely happens these days with any genre, yet alone a Hip Hop album.

Here are some other interesting facts about this track that I found over at Complex.com:
"A Jermaine Dupri-produced cut that originally leaked back in January…as a Jay-Z song. “Where The Money Goes” was rumored to be an outtake from American Gangster, but Fab got his hands on it and kept Jay on the hook. Interestingly, this is also the first cameo Jay-Z has made in another rapper’s video since Freeway’s “What We Do” in 2003."

I've gotta get on it and buy this album because every song I've heard so far has been on point. It's definitely one of the best Hip Hop releases of 2009 already. I have been wondering what Fabolous has been up to since he disappeared for the past couple of years but you can safely say that he is back on his game an better than ever.

Loso's Way debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, selling 99,000 copies in its first week. It became Fabolous' first album to top the Billboard charts. That's impressive in this day and age that he is actually getting better with age. That rarely ever happens in the rap game but he is doing a nice job of making himself relevant again.

You can't go wrong using a remixed version of the Billie Jean beat to make a new track. It's guaranteed to get people to pay attention and start bobbin' their heads. This isn't LL's best work but it's a nice tribute track. I might have to mix this in with the original "Billie Jean" the next time I'm spinnin'.

It's nice to see Clipse back at it again. I've been waiting for their new album Til the Casket Drops for what seems like 2 years at this point. Their new track "All Eyes On Me" is a little more uptempo and commercial than some of their past few releases which should help them get back into the minds of the Hip Hop mainstream. Shit is HOT!!!

Clipse ft. Keri Hilson & Pharrell - All Eyes On Me

It seemed like everyone knew who Clipse was when they released "Grindin'" and "When The Last Time" from the Lord Willin' album in 2001. They were all over the place with Pharell and the Neptunes and blew up even bigger when they appeared on Justin Timberlake's "Like I Love You" but somehow seemed to disappear from the mainstream for the last 5-6 years. They've been around but they just weren't doing it like they used to and were keeping a low profile mostly due to record label issues.

Their second album Hell Hath No Fury from 2006 was sick and is probably one of the more underrated Hip Hop albums of the past 5 years but most Hip Hop fans have probably never even heard it which is unfortunate. It was a hit with Hip Hop Heads and music critics but the mainstream wasn't buying it. Their two singles "Mr. Me Too" and Wamp Wamp (What It Do)" were too hard for radio and club play so that definitely didn't help the cause.

I'm liking where they are going with "All Eyes on Me" and I am expecting some big things from Til the Casket Drops which is set to release in October 2009. Check out "Kinda Like a Big Deal" featuring Kanye West and Bun B in the video below. This dropped back in April and is another hot track that will hopefully make the album. Kanye actually raps for once too! DOPE SHIT!

I am MAD late to the game with this one but it's better late than never, I guess. My boy Gouldie put me on to this sick Kanye Remix mixtape this morning but it actually dropped back in November 2008 to help promote Kanye's 808's & Heartbreak album.

This went WAY under the radar for me and I completely missed it. Luckily it still holds up well over time so it doesn't really matter when you heard it first. Just quality tracks all the way through. This is by far one of my new favorite mixtapes and I will be bumpin' this for a long time. SICK!

Big Sean - "Getcha Some" Official Video (COOL)

"Getcha Some" is the new single from up and coming rapper Big Sean who is signed to Kanye West's G.O.O.D. Music label. I guess this track has been floating around for more than a year since it first appeared on his "Finally Famous" mixtape so it's not tecnically new but for most of us around the country, this is the first we've heard of Big Sean. He still has a fairly local Detroit following so they are going to use this as the first single for his 1st official album "Finally Famous" to help introduce him to the rest of the world.

I'm not completely sold on the song yet but the video is cool as shit. The special effects are fairly simple but they definitely add something unique to an otherwise basic video concept. The video definitely made me like the song better than if I had only heard the song without the visuals, if that makes sense.

It's not an overwhelmingly crazy track but it's decent and got my head bobbin'. Maybe it will grow on me in time. It's not that it's a bad song, it's just that I'm not feeling any energy from it. It might just be Big Sean's style and I just need to get used to it. I trust Kanye's opinion on "good music" so I assume he's got some other dope tracks in the chamber. I'm sure Kanye will play a big role in production and song selection so we should be hearing alot more from Big Sean in the next couple of months.

"Run This Town" is the 1st Official single from Jay-Z's upcoming BluePrint 3 album scheduled to drop on September 11th, 2009. It features Rihanna and Kanye West. If you're gonna do it big, then DO IT BIG. He brought out all of the big guns for this one.

I'm definitely feelin' this joint. It sounds different from all of the other stuff out there right now and it gets your head snappin'. The bass line is catchy as shit too. Expect to hear this on radio and TV in heavy rotation very soon.

I know it's long overdue but I finally had a chance to put together the Dj RyB MJ Tribute Mix I've been promising for the past few weeks. I went over the song selection multiple times and ultimately decided on an uptempo dance mix from the King of Pop. I always liked his upbeat tracks more than the slower stuff so this mix will keep you moving. This is my first mix in a few months and I was a little rusty so forgive me for a few mess ups here and there. I do it one time on the fly so it's not always going to be perfect but I'm still happy with it.

This is only Volume 1 so I'll be following up with at least two more mixes to finish off the tribute to my man, Michael Jackson. I'm thinking about going with a more eclectic mix of hits for Volume 2 and a rare remix collection for Volume 3. Yeah mayne! It's about time someone put out a song signaling the death of Autotune and there's no one better to do it than Jay-Z. One of my favorite recent Jay-Z lines was the beginning of his rap on Jeezy's "Put On" Remix when he said:

Lil Wayne - "Kobe Bryant" (DOPE)

I expected to hate this song as much as I hate Kobe but I have to admit this is some hot ass shit. This is just a dope all around track from the beat to the lyrics to the quotes. I think the audio samples from other athletes really completes it.

Wayne wasn't playin' with this one and he definitely brought his A game like Kobe always does on the court. He didn't have any of that lazy recycled garbage that he's been spittin' lately. I guess you gotta step it up when you make a whole song about one of the greatest players of this generation.

If the Lakers and the Staples Center were smart, they would download this ASAP, clean it up and play it at tonights game. That would get the crowd and team fired up beyond belief and might help Kobe go off for 40+ in Game 1. I am sure they probably won't get their hands on this until about Game 5 if at all but it would be cool as hell to hear that blasting over the stadium speakers during intros or warm ups. We'll see.

Cam'ron ft. Jadakiss - "Let's Talk About"

I'm definitely feeling Cam'ron's new joint "Let's Talk About" featuring Jadakiss. The beat is hot and both Cam and Jada do some nice work on the mic. I love how the chorus and beat starts to fade out and then comes back in hard for the next verse.

I think Cam'ron had the better verse but it's been awhile since he put out some new material so he's bound to have more original ish to spit. I've been hearing a lot more Cam'ron joints floating around lately and it sounds like he is rejuvenated and ready to show these young fools how it's done.

I thought he lost his motivation and swagger a few years back when he was putting out garbage songs with shitty beats and ridiculous lyrics that no one could understand but hardcore Dip Set fans. I think he just needed a break from the game for a minute to clear his mind. I'm hoping he gets back to the style and flow from the Come Home With Me and Purple Haze albums for his new one Crime Pays. He is due!!!

I actually kind of like this track but it's more for the beat than Eminem's lyrics. Dre actually switched his style up for once which was cool but Em is still using that corny, F'd up accent thing like he is a 10 year old talking about poop and farts. I think he's been hanging out with his daughter too much on his time off because he can't even rap normal anymore. I don't know WTF is going on.

It's actually starting to piss me off now and it's almost sad. I was looking forward to the new Relapse album but I am seriously contemplating whether or not to actually buy it now. Every song I have heard so far has been average at best (except for maybe "Crack a Bottle") and any that had potential have been ruined with Em's awful accent/flow thing.

Even the lyrics have been subpar or just plain boring. I don't understand what the hell is going on with this dude. It's watching one of your favorite athletes deteriorate in front of your eyes at a rapid pace and there is nothing you can do to stop it. You just hope they can snap out of it at some point or at least have one or two good seasons before all is said and done.

Actually, it's a lot like what is happening right now to David Ortiz with the Red Sox this season. He hasn't even hit a Home Run yet this season and his power is almost non-existent. He looks like a 40 year old past his prime even though he is supposedly only 34 and should still have a few good years left (just like Eminem).

Damn. I better stop writing about this before I get even more depressed.
