The Red Pink Prism bead, 6081, will be retired as soon as current stock levels are exhausted. The Red Pink Prism bead will be replaced by the Purple Prism, 60194, which will be available in late October 2009.

Breast Cancer Empowerment Beads in Canada?

We are still waiting to hear if the Breast Cancer Empowerment beads will be coming to Canada. They will be released in October in a small test market in the Northeastern United States. No Fair!!!! The beads will come in sets of 10 and will be available for October - Breast Cancer awareness month. From what I have read the beads are a limited edition bead and a third of the proceeds will go to the Susan B. Komen For the Cure Foundation. I know a lot of my customers would LOVE to see these come to Canada - bracelets with pink themes are quite popular. I predict these beads will be a huuuge hit and we will soon see these beads all over the world. (here's hoping!)

Be Original The Movie - deadline extended!

Trollbeads.com has announced today that they have extended the deadline for the Trollbeads The Movie competition. They will now be accepting entries up until September 15th! Visit www.beoriginalthemovie.com to submit your last minute entries. Thank goodness!!

I have looked at quite a few of the video clips that have been submitted and I am determined to get mine done and submitted this weekend! This weekend is a long weekend, my last chance at any sort of summer vacation.

I know a lot of people were disappointed when they didn't get their submissions for the People's Bead in in time. Getting the PAX bead in the mail was such a great surprise. I'd like to find out how many PAX beads were mailed out! So this time - everyone has the opportunity to win a faceted turquoise Amazonite stone. "if your clip is used in the final movie we will send you the beautiful faceted turquoise Amazonite stone. Amazonite is not yet available in the Trollbeads collection so you could be one of the first in the world to own it." How exciting! Are they also indicating that the Amazonite stone might be joining the Trollbeads Collection on the future?

We have all been anxiously awaiting the release of the Autumn Collection from Trollbeads..... and the rumors are true.... we will be getting news about a large selection of beads being released on FRIDAY! That's only 3 sleeps away! I will be publishing all the information I receive ASAP. All I know right now is that the beads are en route to Canada. I can hardly wait to see what they have come up this time. Anyone have any ideas?

Silver Trollbeads a no no in Pools and Hot Tubs!

If you are like me, you never take your Trollbeads bracelet off. It goes everywhere with me, infact I have a tan line on my wrist from mine! However, us Trollies need to remember - NO BRACELETS in the HOT TUB and POOL!!!

The high chlorine and/or Bromine contents used in swimming pools and hot tubs will accelerate the tarnishing of Sterling Silver jewelry. I've seen it to many times - your bracelet will almost instantly tarnish - looking black and dirty. When cooling yourself from the summer heat in a pool - make sure to remove your bracelet and store it in a safe place!

You have created fantastically artistic drawings, paintings, sketches and Photoshop pictures, as well as poetry, facts and fiction, and personal photographs that we collected in the Original Troll Book.

You have shared your unique Christmas traditions with us and with each other; together we have spread smiles all over the world in the Found a Bead event, and last but not least you have even created your own original Trollbeads in People's Bead 2009

So you can understand why we are excited to see what you will come up with for your new creative assignment: Be Original – The Movie.
