Shanda will be starting on Monday, May 21st and Vickie will be starting Monday June, 4th.  Both of these women bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to our staff.  Carol Bergman will be retiring after 10 years of faithful service to Trinity. Although we will miss her gentle spirit and sharp business expertise, we wish her the very best in retirement with her husband Ron.  Carol’s last day in the office will be Monday, June 18th.

Here’s what you can do to help with transportation:

1. Purchase from the Trinity scrip program a BP gas gift card OR make a cash donation.  (write check to Trinity Lutheran Church with “Youth Mission Trip” on the memo line)

2. Place the gift card in the appropriate envelope and deposit at either the Family Center or Trinity Downtown site in the labeled wooden box that has been installed on the wall.

3. Know that you have made a difference in the lives of our students!

Trinity High School Senior Recognition service is June 3, 10:30 a.m. at the Family Center Campus.  At this service the Trinity Quilters will be presenting each student their quilt.  Don’t worry though, if you cannot attend this service, you will have the opportunity to see all of this year’s High School Seniors from Trinity through a powerful slide show, which will be presented at each service on June 3.

Make sure you get an opportunity to connect with our seniors and congratulate them!

This summer we are again bringing camp to Trinity’s Downtown campus Monday through Friday, June 18-22.

    Camp Staff

    Camp sessions are led by four trained college-aged counselors from Camp Omega in Waterville, MN, a fully-accredited Christian camp sponsored by the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod.(www.campomega.org). Adult and youth volunteers help the counselors so that there is at least a 10:1 ratio of kids to adults

    Daily Program June 18-22

    Sessions will run from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm Monday through Thursday and 9:00 am – 12:00 noon on Friday at the Downtown site (1205 6th Street) for kids going into grades 1 through 6.

    The daily program will include all of the fun things kids do at camp – Bible study, games, singing, crafts, sports, lunch and snacks. There will also be a Thursday evening Family Night program with a program and refreshments for the whole family.

    To register

    To register, fill out the Camper Registration, Health, and Pick-up forms available at the Welcome Center at either campus or the Academy office for each camper and return them to the main office at either the Downtown or the Family Center campus. There are also forms available for downloading from the Trinity website (www.trinityhudson.org/church).

    Cost

    Cost for the week of day camp is $40 per camper. Scholarships are available to help any families that cannot afford the full amount. Checks can be made out to “Trinity Lutheran Church.”

    Helpers are needed too!

    We still need some helpers for the Day Camp. The counselors do most of the work but we need some people to help them, some people to help with food, or games, or arts and crafts or daily registration/sign-in. If you can help, please contact Pastor Tim or Dawn at the Downtown office (715-386-9313).
