At its annual employee appreciation event, TD Bank wanted the notion of a corporate family to be reflected in the party’s concept and decor. Tribbles Studio worked that message into the Wow Awards finale with framed photos of the night’s honorees in the reception area and a custom-built free-form table that seated all 125 guests.

Joining the ever-growing trend of vendor spaces turned into event venues is Tribbles Studio, originally a retail shop and currently home to the floral and event design company founded by Cara Stone-Pfeifer. The 1,500-square-foot venue holds as many as 74 people and is situated on West Broadway in TriBeCa, near restaurants such as Bouley, Odeon, and Landmarc.

For serving red wine, he liked a diminutive decanter for its size — a quartino, or a third of a bottle — and for the indentation on its base that makes it easy to grip when pouring.
