Who hasn’t read a comic book in his or her life time? Scott Hanna's work has appeared in comic book titles such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Fantastic Four, The Hulk, Ghost Rider, Iron Man and many more. Comics books are funny books or comic magazines made up of comics, narrative artwork in the form of separate panels that represent individual scenes, often accompanied by all sorts of dialog. Today, I have the greatest pleasure to be speaking with Scott Haan, one of the artist inkers who has been drawing and inking comic books for a long time.

Periodically while growing up, boxes full of fabric swatches would arrive and I would rummage through the pieces, thrilled at the patterns and colors…patchwork quilts and crocheted goods were another constant in my home. An ink set from China was the launching pad into watercolor.

Voyaging through our world, which while fundamentally unified is yet infinite in its diversity, gives one pause to marvel at the fleeting images which imprint, however momentarily, upon our hearts. It is these precious glimpses that I attempt to capture in my work.

...The inspiring elements are people - women and men - as well as the fascinating diversity of human beauty, culture, religion, colour...

I every piece of my artwork I intended to create a mixture between the past and the present. If we knew more about each other we would understand how the diversity should be a potential force for the progress of humanity.

I hope to be able to dedicate this entire work to people and show that:

THE WORLD IS BUT ONE COUNTRY AND MANKIND IT'S CITIZENS!

the future is not here
where,when,what is future?
coud be tomorow or nothing.
present is all i have
this is all what metters.
i try to live the present
could be beautiful....
like a spiritual journey to Bali,
like a spicey chinese food,
like a snowflake came down to earth
in the winter day, could be...
