1st Email Newsletter Design i’ve created

One of most popular methods for getting returning visitors back to your website is through email newsletter subscriptions. I’ve created my very own email newsletter design template, which is the first one i’ve ever designed. The design procces was very simple and identicial to creating a website design, but with a restriction to the width with it being no smaller 550px and no bigger 620px.

Being able to design newsletters is another skill to have under my belt and my next goal is to learn how code HTML email newsletters.

The template will be available to download from Creative Nerds Premium when the resource goes live next month, are be sure to add a link to it .

A great source of motivation to guarantee to motivate you

I hate the fact ending the day knowing that I’ve wasted valuable time, which I could of spent more productively.

Time is so precious and is a commodity which you can never get back therefore time is something which you can not afford to waste. If you have a good idea act upon it today don’t let time pass you by living on regrets its no way to live or to succeed in life. questioning lifes past decisions is pointless the past can never be changed but your future can always be amended.

When I feel a lack of motivation or unenthusiastic, i always turn towards this motivational video. This video helps to boost personal morale which I find to be a great source of motivation, which I’m certain you will enjoy.

My Online Digital Premium Design Store

For the past few months I have been working on Creative Nerds Premium. I did a soft launch in January, therefore you may have already came across the new addition to Creative Nerds. Series 2 Of My Design Tutorial Screen Cast Videos

I’m launching a new series of my design tutorial screen casts. Series 2 nothings changing in terms of content wise, i will still be covering photoshop and illustrator topics, but everything will sound and look a lot better.

Brand New Flashy intro

I also managed to get a friend of mine to create a flashy Creative Nerds intro to the screencasts, which i think looks a lot better than the original simple background image with our logo in the middle.

Audio Improvements

I have been recording screen casts for the past two years, using a not so good microphone. I’ve decided to upgrade my microphone to the yetti manufactured by the company blue, the microphone is one of the best Usb microphones around. The sound quality of screen cast is now certainly a lot more crisper as well as clearer.

Visual enhancement

All future screencast are now in HD(high definition) making it easier to follow tutorials, and the visual quality of videos certainly looking a lot more better.

Distributed on YouTube Channel as well as blip tv

I will now be redistributing our latest videos onto YouTube. I also plan to take a look at some of our popular videos from season one re-editing making them available in HD also putting them on our You Tube channel.

3rd In The Taekwondo British Championships

I came 3rd in the taekwondo British championships which took place at the end of last month. I felt that I thought I fought a good fight but lost the semi final fight simply because of bad referreing. Why do we fall over in life ?so we can pick our self back up. Some times in life you learn more from losing than you do from winning.

Thiers some video footage which I got my brother to record because I thought it would be great way compliment the blog post. My apologies for the not so steady video recording at times. I had three fights in total two wins 1 loss thankfully I can’t seem to find the video footage of the fight I lost he he. I had to shorten the video down a fair bit also unfortunetly.

A passion of mine is creating clean social media icons which can be used in commercial and non commercial design projects. I won A Charity Team Taekwondo Event

I participated in a charity Taekwondo Team event where all the money which is raised goes to a charity RNLI. It was a great day and our team managed to get a first place trophy each and win the tournament . I had 6 fights in total and won each 6 fights.

My brother managed to get some video footage of me fighting, the quality is not the best sorry about that. I was matched up with a heavywight someone two divisions above me in weight. It was a tough fight but I managed to win 5-2. (I’m the one with my back to the camera.)
