Timberland Farm Gingerbread Spice and Scabrock Critters Jubilant showed September 15 &16 at the Western Washington Fair in Puyallup, Washington. Gingerbread Spice received the Reserve Senior and Reserve Grand Champion awards, and Jubilant placed third in her class under NPGA judge Becky Connerly. Jubilant placed second and Gingerbread Spice “got the gate” under judge Jill Conklin the previous day.

Timberland Farm at Marion County 2009

Timberland Farm competed at the 2009 Marion County Fair in Salem, Oregon on July 10th, 11th and 12th. The judges were JT Struthers, Chris Rowley and Mark Adkins.

Scabrock Critters Jubilant: 2nd (Struthers), 4th (Rowley).
Timberland Farm Gingerbread Spice: 3rd (Struthers), 2nd (Rowley), 1st and Reserve Senior Champion (Adkins).

Congratulations to Dori Lowell for finishing PGCH Bizbomb Acres Malley O’Doul (Struthers) and to Jeff Smith for finishing PGCH Legacy Farms Elko (Rowley).

EPGA Red, White & Hulla Blue 2009

Three Timberland Farm animals participated in Evergreen Pygmy Goat Association’s annual Red, White & Hulla Blue on June 27 & 28, 2009. The judges were Debi McGhee of North Carolina and Kevin Kress of California.

Timberland Farm Jana: 3rd (McGhee), 6th (Kress).
Scabrock Critters Jubilant: 1st (McGhee), 3rd (Kress).
Timberland Farm Gingerbread Spice: 2nd (McGhee), 1st, Senior Champion and Reserve Grand Champion (Kress).

Three does kidded on Saturday at the show, each with a single buck kid!

Timberland Farm is pleased to announce the birth of twin pygmy goat kids, a doe and a buck, on November 6th, 2008. The dam is Timberland Farm Willow and the sire is CC Acres Mtn View Taylor. All are doing well.
