Well, I'm not dead, blind or physical maimed in any way. I just lost my google account for a while, I gave them a wrong info about my age, then a message came that told me I'm under 13 and therefor we shoot down your account, at least you send us stuff that prove you've made a mistake. It gave me an ultimatum about 30 days, which I missed. Nevertheless I got it back and I promise I will be a better liar in future times, sorry.

I haven't done much besides the Cirque poster, which is still in progress, a half year now! yes, record but I think I've grown 1-2 meters during. in fact you should know that I cry out loud while writing this, waterfalls of joy brothers & sisters! the creator recommends a hanky:

Cirque du Sick

alright, let's forget about the stuff I was telling in the previous blog entry, the enraged raven, somewhere future maybe. This Ladies & Gents, is definitely my last big shot before I will start drawing comics, i feel like I had to top Atlas Surgged first before I go for the next level. Life feels great lately, enjoy yourself!

I was searching for a new apartment lately and they offered me most rotten place your wildest dreams not even atted to imagine, I write about that because I haven't decided yet if I sign up or not and I took this as an personal reminder, it couldn't get lost here.

Behind the gateway, encircled by a front court junkyard, covered in bad graffiti lies a brick-lined little coach house, looking like a tiny factory were tiny things like needles or something were build back in the days, I fell in love instantly. Well, the inside gave me a little heart attack, after you open a steal made front door, you have to walk a plank across a huge hole in the ground which leads you into the cellar, filled with lifedanger stuff if you fail the plank walk. It's clearly viewable that no one ever has lived there before, gleams of sunlight fullfill the room, shimmering throuh countless holes in the roof. Looking for the rest room I had to fight through a giant cable mess with fat hairy spiders and stuff, finally there I find myself looking into another hole, at least the water seems to work.

Well, I'm a visionary, I always see what could be, so here comes the pro list:

The walls are so high, you could easily build a second floor and maybe barb wireing the rest beams makes it less fun for the rats to visit you up there. The windows are old factory like, super huge, in grates and almost all broken. The coolest thing is that it's got an unreachable door, very symmetrically right in the middel of the frontwall. I have no idea of piping or fixing roof stuff but it can't be that hard and it's not possible to do more damage to this place. There are a lot of construction sites around the place were you could find lots of usefull building materials, the rent is almost nothing and they did not even ask about my assets!!!

It's also inspired by a picture from the Swiss photographer Nicolas Faure, ‘Sunbathing in Central Park’ from the book ‘Good bye Manhattan’ published by Panorama Verlag, München 1984. Which I bought at a flea market for 5€ and Amazon just told me it's worth a 1000€, yeah!

I told you that I have incredible luck, right? yeah well, here's the evidence:

I was completly broke until the best neighbour ever came by and gave me some old magazines he found in his cellar. Very short conversation; for you, thought it may interest you - weehh thanks, unknown neighbour I only say hi and goodbye to, looks pretty cool to me! clap, door closed. a loose note swung out of the magazines, it wasn't a love letter, it was a price list brothers and sisters! And it turned out that one of the mags was an original print from 1916 and it's worth a 520 euros!!!

Some guy on the table kept bothering me while drawing with various questions, I wasn't in the mood for a conversation so, I told him it's a hooker plus an extra horn on his forehead and stuff I'll better not describe to keep him shut. Thats why it's got that awful name. More stuff comming up soon, got a shiny new camera!

This, Ladies & Gents is probably the most authentical drawing of a bar you'll ever meet. Not just because of the large variety of drinks I had during, no, I live directly above a bar and work in another. I go to bed when the sun rise and I usually woke up by smashing glas, people banging in the hall or raucous bawling football fans. I studied the subject extra conscientiously for this. The thing is done with ink, tempera and photoshop for coloring.

with x-mas and all that love stuff on it's way, I thought a little story of how I get Atlas Shrugged done would be ähhh...nice?!

I haven't seen the sun for ages, untill yesterday. I roamed the streets somewere in the northern part of the city, whistling Martin's version of Everybody Loves Somebody while walking. A red light interruped my flow, for somehow the tune became whispers from behind, when I'm on the way I use to slide in a kind of daydreaming mode, therefore a voice in my head is pretty familiar. But usually it is my own, so, I turned around and saw an incredibly gorgeous girl, looking right at me, still whispering. Then we were both gently singing at the stoplight. Green came, we hit, exchanged looks and disappear in opposite directions.

I really love it when life became classy hollywood movie character, it gaves me a kind of inspiration that is far beyond comparison to anything, simple happyness does not match here. Anyway, this and some marvelous tunes I found lately; those are the best dj-set's on really rare 50s, 60s and early 70s. made a great oil painting lately, named it Trapped on Cactus Island and guess what it's absolute hilarious and maybe my best work ever! but you will never see it unless someone buys me a damn good camera ( I prefer Canon the EOS series ). Instead, I give you another crappy drawing. Atlas Shrugged is nearly done!

this time I give you a little preview on what's comming up next, eyo! hope you don't getting bored on all the rough works I'm posting lately, don't worry the polished vector stuff will come back soon, I promise! This drawing is part of my preparing's for a battle I've been aks to join. You got 90 min in the fight, therefor I used a stopwatch to see how much creative output I'm able to bring on the paper and for more pressure I invited some friends over and told them to yell and plaster rotten vegetables at me while I'm drawing. You see I take me work seriously, but nevertheless it was all in vain. I was so busy drawing the past 5 days, I totally forgot to send them my approval for the battle, haha.
