For example, there are times where I’m just feeling completely and utterly overwhelmed and I don’t know what to do and I [...]]]> <p>Do you ever feel like you&#8217;re surrounded? I do. But ya know what? I guess for me that feeling takes on a different meaning depending on where my heart is at the moment. For example, there are times where I&#8217;m just feeling completely and utterly overwhelmed and I don&#8217;t know what to do and I feel like I&#8217;m surrounded by everything and nobody and it&#8217;s all coming crashing down on me. On the flip side of that though there are times where I can see the amazing people that God has put in my life and how they come around me and support and surround me the way that family and friends and the church should&#8230;. I love these times. Anyway, onward we go.</p> <p>Last night, a local radio station kicked off the Christmas season with an awesome Christmas concert with some great artists here at our church. And what was awesome for me was to see a ton of people that I love and care about and respect come over in our huge room and just fellowship and sing with each other. I was reminded last night of how many amazing people God has put in my life from my beautiful wife, my friends and musicians here at Calvary, local musicians and pastors, and the like. It was awesome. Thanks to those of you in my life who surround me&#8230; I am blessed by you. This past week Kim and I stuffed our kids into our car (B.A. for those of you wondering what we call our car) and headed up north to the what could pretty much be the most amazing place in California&#8230; Hume Lake. We had an amazing time relaxing, hanging out, riding bikes around the lake, throwing rocks into the lake, watching ducks eat frogs, taking walks, eating, and just being a family together. It was seriously amazing an amazing week for all of us especially since we hadn&#8217;t really gotten to have a real vacation together since before we had kids&#8230;. yeah, it&#8217;s been a while. But I guess what gets me so much is when I ask myself why? Why am I doing what I&#8217;m doing? If I never write a hit song or go on tour will I be satisfied? Am I happy just doing what God has me doing here at my local church leading worship for our congregation or am I longing for more? My first response right off the bat is yes I am happy and satisfied but then when given time to think about it I begin to doubt that. Am I wrong in that? Is it okay to want more? Is it ok to dream big? Whats the right way to do it.</p> <p>Ah, look at me just ramble. As you can probably tell this video really gave me a nice kick in the chonies and it&#8217;s got me thinking about alot of stuff. But enough about me, I wanna hear your thoughts on this video or even some of the other things. How is this video hitting you?
