Health Insurance

I am now at the age in my life where I have to learn about health insurance. It is just a matter of age and circumstance - I do not want to leave my loved ones with the financial burden of my passing, should I precede them. And I am of the age where my health is starting to fade. I still have a few more good years, but it is time I started learning about health insurance.

The basic history and evolution of health insurance in the United States is one good place to start if you want the real low down and dirty, but you do not necessarily need to know that information in order to purchase life insurance. You need to know about rates, coverage, and things like that. You can find that information on the website linked to above.

Be sure to do your research before making any decisions. If this means going through the entire history of it in your region, then so be it; be informed before you decide on anything. Know what you are getting yourself into and what your loved ones will get out of it should anything happen.

The Cyberpunk Glossary

After several delays, the Cyberpunk Glossary is now live. There are a few flaws, but I decided to go ahead and put it online instead of fixing everything first. I'll continue working on it and improving it.

The Cyberpunk Glossary is largely for use with the R. Talsorian tabletop RPG, Cyberpunk. Some terms were coined by play groups, taken from movies and songs, and other sources, but the majority of the terms were taken from the Cyberpunk RPG sourcebooks.

I needed them together in one place and couldn't find a glossary that had them way back when, so I made one. I know there are several online now, and I'm sure that at least a few of them are better, but this was one of the first dedicated to the game itself. I've continued to update it periodically and will continue to do so, though I'm not playing Cyberpunk at the moment.

Moving to the Midwest

Thanks for the article from Isaiah Gaines

I have started to love the services cable one provides. When I first moved to the Midwest, I felt so clueless about everything, whether it came to what convenience store chains there were or who provided the best TV services. It took so long to get used to things and to get to know the popular and trustworthy businesses in the area. The website helped because it really simplified simple information like what companies provided what sorts of services for TV, Internet and even phone services based on location. I ended up finding exactly what I needed in so little time. I think that was likely the easiest decision I made when I first moved into the area. I mean, trying to find a house to move into was such a feat. I think I looked at some hundred listings and was just so dissatisfied with the process. I was putting so much effort into figuring everything out that it made moving such a pain. I am glad I had one less thing to stress over and, trust me, there was a lot of stress involved.

New Blogger

I'm working under the new Blogger now and it's a little confusing. I am still figuring things out and haven't been posing as much as I used to. I also got a new computer. It's refurbished, but it's new to me. Anyway, I had to install all my programs and things on that and get it configured and so forth. That took a few weeks and I'm still having some issues with it, but I'm dealing.

I have no idea what is coming up next right now. I have some thoughts, but I'm not going to tease you because there is no ETA and I'm not even sure I'll head in one direction or the other. Everything is up in the air right this moment. I may have some exciting news for you in a few months regarding a new feature on the site, but I can't say much about it right now because it's just in its infancy stage.
