I just wanted to share a quick slide show of the awesome Lady Rattlers! They’ve having a GREAT season so far! I’m so pleased to have created their schedule poster once again! I think it turned out awesome! I love when a concept comes together. These girls were so much fun to work with too! Make sure you come out and support them!!

I’m also a wee bit behind on blogging. I’ve been sick since I got back from my trip to New Orleans so please forgive me! I will catch up soon!

Just wanted to let everyone know I’m flying out tomorrow at the crack of dawn to go to Imaging USA . It’s our national professional photographer conference and this year it’s held in New Orleans. It’s always so much fun.. not to mention also very educational and and and I LOVE me some tradeshows! I’m looking forward to meeting other photographers from around the world and catching up with old friends!

I’ll be back in the studio on Jan 19th. I will have limited access to email but will respond when I can!

A year in review ~ 2011

2011 was full of many blessings. I am so honored to have spent time with each and every one of you! As I was working on this slideshow I found myself getting very sentimental. When I look at my brides and grooms I’m excited for them. I remember those first years of marriage and building a life with my husband. It’s a special time and I know that soon they too will be thinking about starting a family. It truly makes me so happy when my brides have babies!! When I look at all my sweet babies it actually brings tears to my eyes because they grow up so fast!! Oh how much these little ones have changed in this short year. When I look at family portraits I’m reminded about what is most important in this life because before you know it your babies will be leaving the nest. Which brings me to high school seniors. I feel envious and a little jealous actually when I look at portraits of these great kids! The best times in their lives are about to happen and they don’t even know it! The whole world is there before them. They’re figuring out who they are and what they want to become. It’s bittersweet… before long they too will be considering marriage, and babies, and creating families. The cycle continues and truly…. life. is. beautiful. It was so incredibly hard to choose one or two images a session! I have so many favorites from every session. I’m so very very thankful to all my wonderful clients who share their lives with me. It’s a blessing and an honor.

Happy Birthday Grace!! Today was great! I got to hang out with Miss Grace and photograph her one year portraits. She is just as cute as ever! I feel special!! I think she likes me or maybe it’s just my camera with all the buttons! LOL I think she’ll be a Nikon girl one day too! . Her buddy Dwight also came along. I have to say he really is the coolest dog in the whole world. I ALWAYS have baby fever when I photograph sessions. When Dwight comes he gives me PUPPY fever!! Thanks so much for coming in guys! I always LOVE when my clients have ideas they want to incorporate into their sessions. Today we did a vintage session complete with vintage clothing, props and an awesome car! It was such a treat today to get to photograph with this wonderful family and with this beautiful 1929 Duesenberg! It couldn’t have been a nicer day! I love how with a little photoshop magic you can make a modern portrait looking totally vintage!!

It’s so pretty in color too! I just LOVE their outfits! Absolutely perfect!

Sweet Avery visited me today! She just celebrated her 1st birthday! She’s soooo cute! I love the age where they can stand but they can’t walk yet! She’s SO close to walking!! This little girl got some CUTE outfits for her birthday!! Makes me want a little girl SO bad!! Baby fever is in full over drive!! I got my tutu fix today! I think we photographed her in five different tutus! I love me a baby in a tutu!! On a side note, It’s funny how small the world is. Turns out Mark when he was in high school use to be friends with my neighbors son. Thanks so much for coming in guys! It was great to meet you! See you soon!
