That Conference is a technical conference at the Kalahari Resort in the Wisconsin Dells. Spend 3 days, 150 sessions with 1000 of your fellow campers geeking out on Mobile, Web and Cloud.

Over the past several weeks, when not bogged down with my day-job or managing Codiad I’ve been working with theprivileges on the ColtJS framework.

There are two new major features in version 0.7.1; models and predefined request.

The big one; models adds the ability to more easily manage data in the framework and incorporates basic construction/deconstruction, RESTful capabilities, and change/sync observers.

The predefined requests allows for definition of XHR requests which can then be easily called throughout your application.

Along the way we added several other fixes and improvements as well.

Driving Back To Montana

It is almost here. In a few days I’ll start my journey back to Philipsburg, MT. This will be my second time performing such a feat. This time I will not be alone. My dog is coming with me.

The original plan was to fly back to Florida for my wedding, and drive back with my wife. Life happened, and I am still single. I learned a lot these past few months in Florida. I grew closer to God, and with the help of friends and family, I was able to come out on the other side with a new outlook in life.

For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time [are] not worthy [to be compared] with the glory which shall be revealed in us. Romans 8:18

I am excited to be going back home. I’ll be posting updates on twitter using the #FL2MT tag.

GoRuck Challenge Missoula

As if doing it once was not enough, I am registered for the GoRuck Challenge happening in Missoula, MT on July, 26th, 2013. Since I have already completed the challenge once, I figured why not do it at another city. My friend Rachel is coming with, I guess she didn’t learn either.

I am so pumped for this summer in Montana.

Git - Rebase on Pull

I’ve been working on a project where every team member is remote, and we all commit and pull from one git repo. I was asked to rebase when pulling changes from the repo. I know there are times where you’ll would want to merge and times where you’ll want to rebase. With that aside I added rebase = true to my .git/config file in order to rebase on a git pull.
