I think every weekend we’ll try to devote our time to chatting with you guys. Once the chat is over this post will be deleted, so don’t bother commenting. You could if you want to, but it will just go down the toilet. Are you ready?

I want to say thank you to everyone who participated in the chat. We had the most people on it that we’ve ever had, 16.

I have grown up without any brothers, and sometimes I really wish I had one. Then I thought about it, and realized that Jacob, Seth, and Grant are sort of like brothers to me. My life has changed quite a lot because of The Panic Button.

• Because of The Panic Button, I met Seth and we became best friends. Seth, Grant, Jacob, and I have become closer.
• Because of The Panic Button, I learned a lot about the internet.
• Because of The Panic Button, I learned that you can’t always trust people, and if an email seems fishy, just ignore it.
• Because of The Panic Button, I get compliments almost everyday about it.
• Because of The Panic Button, I learned how to make impressive computer graphics. Every time I’ve done a poster for school on the computer, I’ve gotten 100%.
• Because of The Panic Button, I have basic knowledge over the art of persuasion. I know what people my age like to hear, see, do, and learn.
• Because of The Panic Button, I learned how to create and maintain a popular blog/website.
• Because of The Panic Button, my social life has drastically improved.
• Because of The Panic Button, I’ve seen almost every popular funny picture on the internet, and my humor has improved.
• Because of The Panic Button, my typing has become faster.
• Because of The Panic Button, my vocabulary has expanded and my literacy has improved.
• Because of The Panic Button, my self esteem has improved and I am almost always optimistic.
• Because of The Panic Button, even when there’s nothing to do, I can always blog.

So don’t let anyone tell you blogging is stupid or a waste of time.

Taylor Swift is hosting Saturday Night Live tonight!

She recently won the VMA Award for best female music video of the year. Of course, as you all know, Kanye West made a rude interruption into her thank-you speech. Perhaps to make up for this terrible humiliation, SNL has decided to allow her to be BOTH the host and the musical guest! This should be a good show, because Taylor Swift (believe it or not) is actually really funny.

Man, this week has been crazy. On Monday we had ITBS testing which is basically just a large, long group of tests from different subjects. It took us four days to complete, testing two hours each day. I have to admit, however, classes were shortened by about fifteen minutes each. We also had a huge science project over ecoregions and biomes. I chose to type mine rather than hand-writing it so hopefully that will add to my grade. My awesome math teacher was sick since last week and returned on Thursday, sporting his Yankees cap, shirt, and jacket. We had a geometry test over isometries on Monday. Thankfully, I got a 100%. In social studies, I’m researching innovations by Google for a big project. Yesterday, my social studies teacher imformed me that I had the best NWEA (long, fancy, sophisticated computer reading comprehension test) score in the grade. I am a VERY slow reader, because I can’t understand a book if I read it fast, so this was a bit of a surprise to me. We spent the entire health class period meditating as a part of this stress management unit we’re in. We layer on the ground and practiced breathing, tensing muscles, and imagery techniques. By the time we were done, I found myself half asleep laying on a sandy beach in Florida. The next few classes were a bit hard because it was as if we had just woken up from a coma. Actually, I’ve been told comas are really relaxing and stress relieving. Maybe we should just practice banging our heads against the walls until we go unconcious next health class. Nah, we might damage the walls.

Hey everyone!  The Panic Button Crew is participating in a game type thingy at school called quiz bowl. It’s a team activity and it’s over trivia questions and you face other teams.  It’s actually quite fun!  We won our first match today and hopefully will win it all (we’ll see).  It’s pretty much the ultimate nerd sport and satisfies our needs.  So anyways life is just normal lately, it’s starting to get cold here (ick).  School going fine (other than these big tests called ITBS, anyone heard of them?).  I’m going to do this a bit differnt, the first 5 people (or untill I log off) will get the picture they want put on.  Comment with a keyword, website, a picture, or whatever and we’ll see what happens!
